Unpopular John Gwynne opinion (no spoilers)

I really dont like how he writes battle.

Dont get me wrong, i absolutely love his writing, his characters, and the stories he tells.

But im currently reading A Time Of Dread after reading The Bloodsworn and Faithful And The Fallen, and let me tell you, theres only so many times you can send someones head spinning, stab someone and spray blood and teeth/ brain and bones, feel your sword grate on bone, hear the crack of shields as they form a wall, and heaven forbid there is so many times you can fight something as big as a mead/feast hall.

I absolutely adore his books and him as an author, but the battles just all seem the same, unless its a one on one battle. Reading his books really made me realize how much i prefer the build up/aftermath of battles.

Do you guys keep confetti?

I love when concerts have confetti, and i love keeping it lol. Last night I was at Bring Me The Horizon and they blasted confetti like 4 times, i kept some of all of it lol. I also got like a 15 foot long steamer.

I still have confetti from last July when I saw Bad Omens in my phonecase lol, im definitely gonna add one of the heart confetti from last night too. I also have a bag of confetti from the last time I saw motionless in white lol. Am I weird for this? In the age of digital tickets you have to keep something
