Deathrattle Tomb Host spearhead

As mentioned in a previous post about how I have interest in soulblight gravelords and curious how they are to build. I’m curious how the spearhead holds up with the all the skeletons. I know the previous had vampire lord and blood knights and is harder to find in stock but I’m curious how this one holds up. Not so much for competitiveness but more so generally as a whole and if there’s anything fun it can do as well for a intro into the faction

Building difficulty

So my next aos army is interested jn is soulblight gravelords. I’m curious how they are to build whether it’s easy or more finicky/annoying. So far my building experience is the ironjawz spearhead and soon to be Gordrakk (a ork on a dragon) as well I’ve my a hand of the archon kill team (druhkari in 40k)

1k pts

Having recently gotten the spearhead, I now have what I need for 980-1k pts even (the 20 pts difference comes from if you use the megaboss or mega boss (scourge of aqshy). With that said I bought these using store credit and now have my first 1k pts army in warhammer in general and I’m looking forward to building the dragon. The 2nd box of wrekkaz/ragers I got as I use the spearhead to build ragerz and I wanted to run both and obviously could as I had the pts space to. But now gotta figure out what battle formation I’ll use after I try spearhead by its self in games of spearhead

Liking someone despite friendzoned

How do I deal with the thoughts of someone I still like despite having been friend zoned by them (for mental reasons and life reasons). Yea the simple thing of wanting to FT again has been pushed back every time mention it by a month or more and only get texted when initiate even if it’s been over a month since we last spoke but despite that I still like them. Apologies for the bit of a rant, kinda just fixating on it and tends to be something I do as a autistic

Spearhead: Ragerz vs Wrekkaz)

So I recently started building my spearhead with the first model built being the megaboss. With that said im deciding what variant I’d want to build. I do plan to expand to 1k pts eventually but with that said im curious what would be better

First model

First model of the spearhead done, it made the most sense to start with the megaboss. Overall of all the models I’ve built thus far (before megaboss I built a hand of archon kill team which is druhkari/elves in case no one knew) and the megaboss was hands down a much better and far more fun model to build. It was also just very satisfying using every piece of his sprues to build him. Of the 11 models I’ve built in my very early model building career this is def hands down my fav so far, as for what model(s) I’ll get up to either tomorrow or remainder of this week/weekend who knows

Lords of the maelstrom battleforce and 1k pts detachment

So according to new recruit, if you combine the battleforce, and the Huron black heart and lords of the maelstrom box you get 980 pts. Now with that said I do have access to purchase it as the main LGS I go through with products both related to warhammer and other games and they have the battleforce and the lords of the maelstrom box. With that said I’m curious what the best detachment would for that and especially since Huron will be in it. I know Huron has his own but that’s also 3DP which is for 2k pts so I’m curious what the next best thing would be

Progress update

So I’ve now completed 5/10 hand of the archon kill team. This is my first box of warhammer I’ve personally built myself and such.

A couple things I’ve noted while building the team is I’ve found some parts of models to test my patience, specifically if it’s parts that connect together like the 2 arms that combine to have it show it holding the stim needler or the bottom hand holding the dark lance. While doing this it has made me ask the question of “would I/do I see myself building a druhkari army and such”. And my answer to that is depends on the model but overall no. Not that I’m not having fun building, trying new stuff and learning. The other thing is the bases being too small and so they’re having their feet dangle off the edge of the base. With that said though I’m happy with the progress I’ve done so far of my first models and I look forward to finishing the remaining few which are very straight forward ones

Blood knights

So first and foremost I’m new to age of sigmar and I well absolutely love the look of blood knights and sbgl. With said I’m curious if anyone has made a thematic army around them. According to new recruit for 920 you could take 15 blood knights, fell bats and vampire lord on nightmare steed. Probably the dumbest list you’ve heard of and I’m not saying I would do it. But just curious

My first minis

I’ve built my first ever minis of hand of the archon and warhammer in general. They may not look great but it’s a step in the right direction and learning experience as after finishing my team I have a spearhead to build.

My new kill team

Got my next team kill which will be the first team I’ve built myself. So I’ve got a fair amount of models to build as I also got a spearhead (the age of sigmar version of combat patrol) so in total 39 models between the 2 to build

New owner

I am now the new owner of my first spearhead for AoS. I’m looking forward to building models for the first time

Spearhead and Pts

So I’m planning on picking up the spearhead today and I saw a few videos saying the spearhead is like 670 pts or up to 670 pts in standard sigmar even though when I add models in new recruit I’m getting 550 pts and so I’m curious how they’re getting that. Unless that would have been last edition?

Mental strength

As well know siege is a mental game of decisions. Especially in ranked and the current state of the game and more and more of the years. With that said, how do you yall in ranked deal with players who make choices that affect the team like team killing or run off and basically get themselves killed and not or leave the game putting you at a disadvantage and not let it affect you.

Units and characters

So I’m looking at making a ironjawz army with some recently acquired store credit and general plan for 1k pts is ofc spearhead, a 2nd unit of ragerz which I might build as wrekkaz just to have a mix of both and then to get to close to 1k pts gordrakk/megaboss on maw-krusha (haven’t fully decided on which but probably gordrakk).

With that said though I’m curious what units or characters are must or should be very much considered to add in a list when making an army. Doesn’t have to be insanely strong but I’ll take funny and just fun in general too

Spearhead: Ironjawz

So I recently received almost $700 of store credit for selling some magic cards at a game store (around 75 cards, some from precons but most were just very lucky pulls). With that said I would like to use a bit to get a spearhead and one of the spearheads to better dip my toes in AoS im eying is ironjawz. I’m curious for those who own it and have played and or still play it and what you think of it

Venerable dreadnaught

So yesterday I went to the city to visit Friends and go to a game store to bring in my sell list for magic cards in which I’m getting closw to $700 of store credit whicu I’ll be using for buying my 1k pts lots of space wolves. With that said, we also looked around at a lot of the warhammer products whether that’s specific units, combat patrols, spear heads etc. with that said I’m curious about venerable dreadnaught and if they’re viable in lists or if it’s more personal preference stuff

Idoneth Deepkin in Warcry

Hello, I’m curious about deepkin and how they are in Warcry. From overall I guess how they play in both stats and abilities. And what good units to include in a Warcry team, doesn’t have to be the most OP but overall just what you find fun and would recommend for someone looking to play deepkin in Warcry.

P.S hope your having a good day

Wolf brothers

First and foremost this an image from Google images of the wolf brothers which is a canon and failed successor chapter of space wolves and NOT A MODEL I OWN AND PAINTED. With that said I’m curious what grey and red paints are as wolf brothers are my other inspiration colour scheme for when I start space wolves
