Looking for a Harley for a photoshoot
Hey everyone! I’m planning a photoshoot and I’d love to incorporate a Harley into the shoot. I’m wondering if anyone in the area would be open to letting me use their bike for a short photoshoot.
The bike would only be used as a prop for the photos — I wouldn’t be riding it or moving it around.
I’d be happy to compensate you for your time,
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, feel free to DM me! I can also share more details about the shoot. 🖤
what do you offer during your slow season?
For those of you who do pet sitting/dog walking full-time, what do you do during your slower months (especially January–March)?
I’ve noticed that this is consistently my slow season, and I’m trying to be more intentional about planning for it instead of just accepting that income will drop.
I’d love to hear about:
• Services you offer specifically during winter/slow months
• Fun or creative things you’ve added to bring in bookings
• Recurring services that help keep income consistent
• Enrichment activities, puppy services, training, etc.
• Anything you’ve tried that unexpectedly worked
• Things you tried that were NOT worth the effort 😂
Pet sitters, how do you handle deposits for bookings made far in advance?
I have a reliable repeat client who normally pays me in full at the beginning of each month. She wants to book dates with me for next year, and I’m wondering how others handle this.
If someone books 6–12 months in advance, do you:
Require a deposit to hold the dates?
Collect full payment upfront?
Just reserve the dates and collect payment closer to the booking?
I’m thinking maybe 25–50% upfront, with the remainder due at the beginning of the booking month. What do you all do?
Apparently noticing herself for the first time today 😂😂😂😂
Here’s a wednesday laugh one of my funniest clients 😂😂
Send good vibes ❤️
I know the only way out is through, but why does it hurt so bad? Why does the grief hurt so bad? It’s literally paralyzing.
How would you structure an extended drop-in?
I have a potential booking that would involve caring for two dogs during an 8-hour window. I normally offer standard drop-ins, but I’m trying to figure out how other sitters approach longer daytime care.
Would you treat an 8-hour daytime booking as multiple drop-ins, extended care/day sitting, or something else? I’m curious how you structure the service and what factors you take into consideration.
Break ups 😩
I’m coming out of the worst breakup of my life a narcissistic one, and if you know, you know! What has helped you the most after navigating a breakup/heartbreak?

Starting a pet care business
I’m taking steps to start my own pet care business and I’m getting a lot of side eyes and people telling me that it’s not a real job and I’m in my head about it. Can anybody offer some kind words or advice?
To everyone going through a break up right now, choose yourself even when it hurts ❤️
reddit.comWhat’s the right way for local service businesses to approach apartment communities?
Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some perspective from property managers, leasing agents, landlords, and anyone who works in multifamily housing.
I own a local pet care business, and I’m trying to understand the appropriate way to introduce my services to apartment communities.
I don’t want to come across as soliciting, loitering, or creating extra work for staff. Instead, I’d like to understand what property managers actually appreciate from local service providers.
For example:
Is it okay to reach out to the leasing office directly?
Do communities ever include trusted local businesses in resident newsletters or welcome packets?
Are resident events or pet events a better way to introduce services?
Are there liability or policy concerns that make these types of partnerships difficult?
I’d really appreciate hearing what approaches make you more likely to work with a local business—and what approaches are an immediate “no.”
Why do I feel so worthless after being cheated on?
I finally left my boyfriend this week. I took him back after he cheated on me twice, and I tried to work through it. I tried to move past it, but as I’ve been processing everything, I’ve been struggling with feelings of inadequacy.
I keep asking myself, “What’s wrong with me?” Like I’m not enough. Like I’m somehow the reason this happened.
What made you feel the most guilty as a pet owner while building your business?
reddit.comNew Parent Pet Support
Hi everyone! I’m curious to hear from parents who had pets before bringing home a baby.
What was the biggest adjustment when it came to caring for your dog or cat?
Did walks, playtime, grooming, vet visits, or exercise become more difficult? Did you have family or friends helping, or did you figure out a routine that worked?
Looking back, is there anything that would have made life easier during those first few months?
I’d love to hear your experiences!
What do you do for your pets when you’re working nights?
I’m just curious how other night-shift workers handle having dogs or cats. If you work overnight or long shifts, what does your pet care routine look like? Do you rely on family, dog walkers, daycare, neighbors, or just adjust your schedule? What’s been the biggest challenge?
I finally left y’all lol ❤️
For months, I kept questioning whether I was overreacting or expecting too much. It wasn’t until my therapist started pointing out the psychological abuse and the people closest to me noticed it too that I realized how unhealthy my relationship had become.
The first time I should have left was when he cheated on me. He promised he would change, but nothing did. When I told him I thought we needed a break after everything that happened, he said he “dissociated” after I asked for space and that it “takes time” for him to figure out how to make things up to me. There always seemed to be an excuse instead of accountability.
Then I caught him emotionally cheating again.
He had been building a relationship with one of his friends who was in jail, telling her he loved her and missed her. When I asked him why he would do that if he loved me, he said he was only trying to “give her hope” and “give her something to look forward to.”
I asked him to block her if he wanted to repair our relationship, and he agreed. But after I found out about everything, he locked me out of his house and took my keys. I had to ask one of his neighbors to let me back inside. Instead of apologizing, he got angry that I had told the neighbor what happened.
A few days later, the woman’s son called him asking why he wasn’t talking to his mom anymore. He exploded at me and blamed me for it, as if I was the problem instead of the fact that he had cheated.
He also became angry whenever I confided in anyone. He didn’t want me telling my family, my friends, or anyone else what was happening.
Looking back, I realize how isolated and confused I had become because I spent so much energy trying to understand his behavior instead of trusting my own feelings.
My therapist helped me realize that what I was experiencing wasn’t just infidelity it was manipulation, blame-shifting, and psychological abuse.
Today, I walked away.
I’m heartbroken, but I’m proud of myself. Leaving has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I know staying would have hurt me even more.
For those who’ve left emotionally abusive relationships, how did you start trusting yourself again after spending so long questioning your own reality?

This is my first time leaving and experiencing an abusive relationship, and I don’t know how to handle it.
I’m in shock. I’m hurt. I’m grieving someone who also caused me so much pain, and I don’t know how to let that go. I keep replaying everything in my head, wishing he understood the damage he caused, knowing he probably never will. I never imagined leaving would hurt this much.
For the women who have been through this, how did you survive the beginning? How did you accept that you might never get the apology or closure you deserved?
