I started thinking long ago about how until the Hudlin run, Storm likely had no pictures of herself in childhood, and her grandparents could only provide the first six years. So I came up with this long-ass (unwritten) back story of how the camera got stolen from the Dickey miniseries was eventually found years later, and while most of the data on the memory card was corrupted, a couple of pics survived. The daughter of the now dead photographer reached out to...whoever, and the pics were finally shared w/the royal couple when they were in their mid-40s or so. Recall that Lifedream canonically placed Storm at 30, so the camera Storm uses in the 4th pic is ancient for a reason.

As Wakanda Island flourishes over on r/tchoro, I had a thought: why not bring Psylocke to the island since Blade was already there? I get her together (the best I could - I can't draw at all), get her house together, and she walks out. "WHAT'S UP WITH SAI?" the game asked, so I hit and record and...my hand to Bast, this happened. I didn't plan it. I didn't put them together. And Betsy's only been in the game for about seven minutes - and six of that was me putting her outfit together.

A flash of anger shot through Ororo's body, so intense that it made her hands shake. The world could have the king and the diplomat and even the six-time Sexiest Man Alive. But this T'Challa, with his gorgeous smile and easygoing manner, was hers and hers alone. He's mine, Ororo thought as the photo blurred before her eyes. They can't have him!

A soft rumble of thunder filled the air. "I really am hormonal," Ororo said aloud. She could almost hear T'Challa teasing her - poor Turkana had gotten her temper honestly. What harm could a viral picture do? Let them see my husband for who he truly is, Ororo thought, sitting up to take deep, calming breaths. When the media was doing tearing T'Challa down - and country and his marriage and even his children - this was the man who remained. Husband and father, son and brother and uncle-to-be, smiling and unbothered with the diadem of Earth's mightest mutant over his heart.

Ororo had forgotten how beautiful T'Challa was, inside and out. Still, it wasn't until Ororo started reading the comments that she realized what was causing all the commotion. By the goddess...

Unfortunately, Reddit doesn't let us edit post titles, or else I would have put this in the other thread. So we'll lock the 1st thread and keep the party going in this one (feel free to upvote them both). Also, if you'd like to have a general MR convo about BP and/or Storm, such as their current state and hopes for the future, feel free.

Personally, I think it sucks that they'll keep this couple going in MR (as well as Tokon), but not in 616. It reeks of #HereNegroDamn. Our dollars are good enough, but not our representation.

Tumblr users know how nasty the T'Choro vs. RoLo wars are on Super Hero Confessions, and it's turned into an infinite loop of fuckery.

When the suggestion was made days ago to ban these posts, I was all for. As I said then, it was never going to end. Today, the mods have finally asked both sides to stop. On behalf of our side, I'm going to ask the same, no matter how hard it's going to be to abstain.

There have been some amazing ones submitted, and it always brings me joy to see Stormpanthers dragging Stormverine to the upper room. Our #1 mission (behind supporting the pair, of course) has always been to correct the lies that anti-T'Choro fans love to tell to boost up their flopship. Well, the single most important truth is that Murewa Ayodele recently confirmed that he was never bullied out of writing Stormverine (which everybody knew), that he never intended for Wolverine and Storm to be a couple in his book (which everybody knew), and that the plan in the arc that got canceled was to reunite Black Panther and Storm, which nobody knew.

To quote Tywin Lannister: "The battle is over. We have won!" The streets always win, after all. But being T'Choro, we tend to fight on autopilot, I would argue, because we're so used to it. It's time to stand still and the RoLo scalp hanging on the wall. They lied...and they lied...and they lied...and worse, they knew they were lying. And now it's all over.

Now, will Stormverine continue to repeat their lies - about T'Challa, about T'Choro and about us? Of course they will. They have to. Otherwise, they're forced to step into reality, which we all know they'll never do. I cheerfully encourage you all to continue putting belt to ass when needed - I know I will. But that only applies to the comments. As much fun as it was to see Stormpanthers dragging the ever-loving fuck out of RoLo (and watching them cry about it), I ask (not order) that we stop submitting posts at SHC, even if they start up again with their ChatGPT fan fiction slop submissions. All it's going to do is continue to undermine their integrity, and Lord knows they already don't have any.

Great podcast to listen to that's pretty much highlighting what we've said for so long. How come it's okay (and CORRECT) to highlight and value the importance of all sorts of representation, but Black love is so offensive to so many?

I am never going to understand why people get so pissed off when they find out they're not welcome here. I thought we were bullies...irrelevant...unliked? So the fact that certain ships are banned from posting here should be no issue, right?

Seriously, why would anyone who doesn't support T'Choro try to sneak into T'Choro spaces? It happens all the time. And it never fails. Someone gets caught, members get warned/suspended left and right...why? They could start a space and pass Storm around like a fucking blunt like this sick-ass psycho here, but noooooooooooo. They wanna be where we are. Why do y'all think that is?

*edit* Keeping in the spirit of our newest rules, let me stress that we are not discussing the Stormverine relationship or the characters, or even the ship itself - only why they get so angry about why they are not allowed to be here. Like, even if you do ship both ships - genuinely and truly do - this isn't the place for you. Why not make a reddit for Storm multishippers instead of being mad at this one (other than the obvious)?
