People who enjoy their eggs with a runny yolk, are sexual deviants.
I posted this on unpopular opinions sub. Got removed because apparently it’s popular? Well anyways, all I’m saying is that if you like your eggs half raw, that’s not the only thing you like raw.
Runny yolk=different strokes. So far 10/10 people in my informal survey that enjoy runny yolks, have admitted to being a freak in the sheets, compared to just 1/7 people who prefer their eggs prepared in a different manner being a freak.

A local perspective
Hi everyone,
I’ll be visiting Turkey for the first time this winter. The main purpose of the trip is bringing my mom for dental treatment, but I’ve decided to spend some time exploring Turkey while I’m there as well.
I’ll mostly be staying in İzmir, with some time in Istanbul, for around 2–3 weeks. I’m hoping to return in 2027 for a longer 1–2 month trip to experience more of the country beyond just a short visit.
I’d really appreciate hearing local perspectives on a few things:
1: How useful is it to know some Turkish for a trip like this? Should I focus on learning basic phrases, or is English generally enough in İzmir/Istanbul? I’d like to make an effort and interact with people more naturally.
2: I’m a big foodie and really enjoy Turkish cuisine. What are some places in İzmir or Istanbul that you personally enjoy going to regularly? I’m less interested in only famous/fancy restaurants and more interested in the everyday places you enjoy as someone who lives there.
3: I’m American but also speak Russian/Ukrainian. Are there many Russians or Ukrainians who have moved to Turkey permanently? Is there much of a community?
4: What are your favorite places for walking, nature, or hiking around İzmir and Istanbul? I enjoy exploring cities on foot but also like outdoor activities.
5: What sports or recreational activities are popular locally? Where do people go to play sports or socialize around them?
6: I’ve read about Turkish baths before and would love to experience one while visiting. Are there any hammams in İzmir or Istanbul that you personally recommend?
Long term, I’m considering spending several months a year living outside the U.S., and Turkey is one of the countries I’m interested in. For those who have lived abroad, what is something about Turkey you missed when you were away? This could be food, culture, atmosphere, convenience, or anything else.
Thanks in advance for any advice. I’m looking forward to visiting and experiencing Turkey.
Flip flop
For context, I oscillate between thinking that a few repeated glances, where I’m not the one who was looking first means that a girl is attracted to me, to thinking it means absolutely nothing. Similar with eye contact, idk if I’m just intimidating to maintain eye contact with for whatever reason or if that’s something most people struggle with in general. Let’s go with this example: I was ordering coffee at a local coffee chain, nothing unusual just casual chitchat with the barista about my order. However there was this weird moment where she asked me if I’d like a straw, and me looking at her eyes created this weird pause/look away after I said yes. It wasn’t overly awkward , just something felt a little weird, should I not look people in the eye overly much when talking to them? Or am I just reading too much into situations like these. Another example would be at the gym, I typically try to center where I’m looking where there isn’t anyone. Occasionally, I’ll sweep my eyes across the gym to see which machines have freed up/just habitually. There’s been a few times where I lock eyes with a girl I wasn’t meaning to look at and it’s some sort of weird tension for a bit, especially if it happens more than once. I also don’t smile much so that might not be helping in making these moments less awkward.
Only Audio I had saved of myself singing
Sei qui tu viras, by ghen. I’m the male voice if it isn’t clear. Recorded from my phone in my car with the song playing on the sound system.
Based off these photos, what would you assume is my preferred type of woman?

Scheming.
Books where characters/factions/etc scheme Heavily against each-other. Intricate plots and traps laid by characters that are planned out well in advance. My favorite book that has this theme is Reverend insanity.
War.
Books that have war as a major plot point or something that is happening in the world consistently/impacts the story.
Fantasy war/medieval war books please
Looking for books that have involve war, preferably fantasy, medieval is fine too. Historical fiction/fiction only please. Thanks ☺️

How would you spend an extra 40 hours a week?
Ultimately, I am undecided on what to do with this budget of 40 hours a week. I will be allocating 40 hours a week to accomplish.. whatever I choose to accomplish. I have various goals I want to allocate this time to, here are a few:
Increasing my income/upskilling/getting a bachelors degree.
Hitting 180 pounds on the scale (currently 240).
What would you do with 40 hours a week?
Games that leave you feeling mentally exhausted, no I don’t mean chess.com.
Any game that you feel was a workout mentally for you. Could be fast paced shooter, rts etc genre doesn’t matter.

Post your favorite energy/beam ship builds. Here is mine:
Currently too broke to redo it, but the only thing I would change is removing expanded missiles racks as a smod and replacing it with expanded mags so my lightning guns have more charges and reload faster. Also, mounting 6 ultraviolet pulse lasers is also acceptable swap for the lightning gun. If you have expanded mags and use 8 lighting guns, you can kill every small ship in the game with one mag dump.
