Need your opinion on this.

This is an experience that happened to a brother who works with me.

Recently, he bought a brand-new Ather bike from a showroom. The registration and payment were completed.

When he took the bike out of the showroom and was asked to ride it for the first time, he noticed that the front wheel felt like it was bent/skidding. This happened literally within a few minutes of taking delivery.

Since this happened on the very first day, he completely lost his trust in Ather and his confidence in the bike.

The service team inspected the bike and said they would replace some parts and properly service it. But after facing an issue like this with a brand-new bike on the very first day, he doesn't feel confident using the same bike anymore.

So he asked for a refund, but the manager said, “The vehicle is already registered, so a refund is not possible. We can service it and give it back to you in proper condition.” They spent almost an hour trying to convince him to keep the same bike and get it serviced.

But his point is simple:

If you pay the full amount in cash for a brand-new bike and face an issue within a few minutes of taking delivery, how can you expect the customer to have confidence in that same bike even after servicing it?

He doesn't want this bike anymore. He is only asking for a refund.

So my question is: If a brand-new vehicle develops an issue immediately after delivery, is it reasonable for the customer to expect a refund? Or is a refund impossible once the vehicle has been registered?

We are waiting to see what response the company gives.

Anniku morning office-ku poganum, but late-ah wake up aayiten. So quick-ah kulichitu, fast-ah ready aagi, bike-ah start panni office-ku poitu irundhen.

Railway gate reach pannadhum gate was locked for almost 30 mins 😭. Morning peak time vera, continuous-ah 6 trains pochu...Finally gate open pannanga, so naanum fast-ah kelambiten.

I actually have another WhatsApp account with a different number. I texted one of my coworkers from that account.

At first, I acted like I was a student. He replied with, "Yes, tell me," and we started chatting. Then I told him I wasn't a student and that it was just a prank. 😂

After that, I slowly started saying I had a crush on him, and our conversations kept growing. Before I knew it, he completely believed I was a girl.

🤣 I only sent fake pictures, never sent a voice note, and never talked on a call.

Later, I asked if we could meet, and he happily agreed. I even told him to bring me a panda teddy as a gift... and he actually bought one! 🤣🐼

Then I intentionally sent him to the wrong location. He called me saying he had arrived, but I apologized and said there was a problem at home, so he went back home. 😬😂

After that, there were lots of 18+ conversations too... 🤣😂 but even those were completely fake.

And today, I told him, "Sorry, this time I'm definitely coming to meet you." He's waiting there for that "girl"... but he has absolutely no idea that it's actually me. 😂🤣

I just got admitted to the B.Tech Part-Time program at SRM KTR. Yesterday I paid my fees (₹50,000 + ₹10,000 = ₹60,000) and I have the payment receipt from my bank.

However, nothing has changed on the SRM admission portal yet, and I haven't received any call, email, or confirmation from the university. I'm getting a bit nervous.

Is this normal? How long does it usually take for the payment to reflect in the portal and for the admission process to move forward?
