Ford Fathom. What are your thoughts?

I personally have no problem with electric cars. I liked the F150 lightning, however its price tag was too high. With the economy we are in(my view), people are tightening their belts, we aren't making massive purchases. Its astounding how much vehicles cost now. "Back in my day" a new truck was 60k for near top of trim level. Now its at least double that. You're looking at 100k for a decent truck or SUV. Also, with the electric cars. The HUGE difference between these new electric car manufacturers and the legacy car brands, is dealerships. With Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, BYD, VinFast, all of these you go online. You build what you want. Then pay them. With the dealership, you go on the Ford website, build the car or truck you want. The website gives you a price. But when you go pick it up at the dealership, it now has 5k in added fees or mark ups. With these new car brands, there's none of that. This is the price, this is what you pay. With the electric car companies, they dont have "dealerships". They have service centers. Where they are there to maintain the vehicle you bought. Or to pick up the vehicle you bought. I may be more interested in our legacy brands in the future, if the car buying experience would change, the cost would become reasonable, and the build quality is equal to the mortgage im paying for this thing.

Dog absolutely hates getting nails trimmed. Drugging doggo does basically nothing.

60lbs female pit boxer mix. She HATES anyone messing with her nails. Local vet has prescribed trazadone and gabapentin(?) I cant remember gabapentin dosage. But trazadone is like 200mg. Does basically nothing. She's kinda tired but will still pull away or nip you if you attempt to approach her with a nail clipper. We have had limited success with surprise clipping but that takes days, or just plain luck paw that you need happens to be sticking out of the blanket during nap time. But if she figures it out your done. Should I approach vet with a different solution? Or should we fully sedate her to do a nail trim? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Chainsaw that hasn't run in several years.

I have a stihl chainsaw that I haven't used in several years. I bought it to cut up a tree that fell after a hurricane came through and knocked over a tree. Hurricane season is upon us once again. There's another tree thats in danger of falling, no risk to property though. What should I expect to make sure its running again, should I need it.

Question? Those of us that attended trade schools, even if it was a community college, what program did you go through, where did you go, and finally was it worth it?

Ill go first. I went to OTC in Cleveland, Ohio. The post 9/11 gi bill paid my way. I had a friend who was going so rooming with him saved me even more money. I went through the now defunct auto-diesel (think of focus being f-250 up to class 8 trucks). As far as was it worth it, I think I got paid more at some jobs because of it, and I understood new concepts faster than some of my counterparts that simply made their way from the lube tech bay. Im not sure it would have been actually worth the cost if I actually had to pay out of pocket. Plus side is I was issued tools, alot of them I still have today.

Torn dew claw pad.

This is Kiwi. She's a 3? year old pit boxer mix. She has a bit of skin hanging off her front left dew claw pad. I noticed it this morning, though I suspect it happened last night as she was not as playful as she normally is. She's not limping, but she is guarding it more so than she normally does. She HATES getting nail trims. So any prolong holding of paws or messing with claws is met with suspicion. What should we do about her pad?
