This is absurd

I have gone five weeks without unemployment — what the hell.

Is there something wrong with this state?
Bills don’t stop, rent doesn’t stop, and life doesn’t stop.

It feels like they actually want to inflict pain on us. On top of that, because I was approved for unemployment, my food stamps were cut — even though I haven’t been paid a single dollar in five weeks. My food stamps won’t go up again until September 8th.

If unemployment is in adjudication, your food stamps should increase right away. This system makes no sense.

Feeling stuck and feel like I can never get ahead .

I’m feeling stuck right now. I don’t feel like I can get ahead. I had a couple job interviews and that did not go my way and I had a recruiter flat out. Tell me not to call him anymore. These job interviews were pretty good and would at least pay me good 50 60,000 a year but right now it’s just it feels like I’m stuck and I can’t get ahead. Is there any advice that you guys give me that help me feel unstuck I know this is probably just a temporary situation but this financial stress that I’m in is really freaking me out and I feel like I can’t get out of bed because due to the anxiety

Might lose job Tuesday

Tuesday I have an assessment for a job if I fail I could lose my job. I have already failed twice , but I don’t know if I care .

Here is why

It only pays 17 an hour after taxes it is 15.50 give or take

It’s really not my field , it’s a healthcare appointment setter and reminder

I have never worked as this position before and it is completely new to me . And I was just going go use this jobs to get a new job .

1st assessment completely fucked up I’ll take the loss on that

2nd assessment they said I did much better but I went off script and missed some questions, in question and answer part.

My main frustration is why are they making it so hard for an appointment setter job for Medicaid .

There should be some leniency, especially if I never worked in the healthcare industry before .

It’s not like I am a nurse or doctor inam appointment setter .

If I fail this assessment I’ll go back to job search and get back into help desk . I just took it because I did not want to be unemployed for to long .
Any advise to calm my nerves and to realize it’s just a temp job .

I also notice I am not the most optimistic person any advise on being more optimistic

Please protect the Declaration of Independence at all cost

With trump in White House we need to replace the real Declaration of Independence with a replica so trump does not steal it. Because you know he will or try. This act will be so outrageous that he will get life in prison. And no one can ever justify this , no amount of spin Fox News can spew out will ever justify it .

Only Nicolas cage is allowed to steal it .

Bad week

This was bad week for my anxiety

I had my driving lesson and i did horrible

I did not pass a test for work and if I don’t pass it a second time very good chance I can be fired

I thought I was doing good for cleaning to get 200 dollars of rent but 1 roommate says I am doing good

The landlord says it’s not to standard even though he said it was okay last time

So I really had a bad week

How do I stop feeling like a failure ?

I kind of feel like a failure , and I don’t know why.

I have a job that I’d fully remote it’s not best paying.

I also don’t have a drivers licenses this is mostly because of financial issues. I do have a permit and I am taking drivers training. But I am 40 I feel like I got left behind and a late start in my life .

Confused with hr hiring practices

I applied for a job in a Seattle area Home Depot in north pudget sound .

I applied for pasa, pro associate , and cashier .

They interviewed me for tool rental . I know nothing about tools .

I said when I lived in Dallas I did work at technology support center in order up.

I also had my headphones with me because I was listening to podcast. But I put them away when interview started . I also had energy drink , my daily dose of caffeine.

He said it was unprofessional when he is drinking coffee out of Starbucks cup. So your brand of caffeine is better and more sophisticated. He also said unprofessional to bring headphones . Which in a way I can see but I had no audio playing and no music playing .

My main frustration is they interviewed me for a job I am not qualified for and insulted my form of caffeine. Which I bought at the Home Depot I was interviewing at the fuckers got a 3 dollars out of me .

I applied for pro

He interviewed me for tool rental

What the actual fuck

But as I was leaving I got an offer letter from a work from home job at 17 an hour . But it’s fully remote and it’s Help desk for a hospital. So it all worked out

How long are records kept in human resouces

I recently applied for a job at Wells fargo in the Seattle area location as a personal banker.

My question is in 2008-09 i worked at Wells fargo phone banking postion , in which i completly screwed up and got fired , walked out the door type of fired.

In all fairness to me my grandma did just die and and I Nevada was going through a recession at the time . (where i lived in 2008-09)

Ill admit that i completly screwed up at the job and it was probably not a good fit for me at the time. Should I be safe applying for the job , will they keep those records?

I would like to add that in 2012 they did shut down the call center and moved to Idaho in 2013.

Will i be safe saying I worked there even though i got fired?

Why do they get rid of jobs so quickly ?

I applied for a job at a home depot as a cashier . I get an emaill at 5 am to complete an assesment I log in at 1030 am to complete it: and its says the postion has been closed .

What the actual fuck only 5 and a half hours and its closed.

Any one have any Idea why they do this.

Luckily I still have an in person interview at lowes and this one is only one bus away and 5 minute walk.

Home depot is one bus away and a 30 minute walk.
