Keep your receipts, keep your warranty info, these sum' bitches ain't cheap.

Paid $760.16 after tax two years ago. Tank failed, was leaking. Warranty only covered half the cost of a new unit.

I have a tracking software I keep all our equipment info in. Came in handy getting it warrantied.

Manitowoc on the left, Hoshizaki on the right. I changed the filter about a month ago and our water goes through a softening system before it gets here. Even after changing the filter the water pressure is low. It's been like this for the past year and four months I've worked here.

I'm thinking the Hoshizaki is pulling water away from the Manitowoc and causing this. I tried shutting the water off to it and seeing if it made a difference but I didn't notice any.

I've got this on my plate to have solved early this week. I'd love some pointers to get me in the right direction. I'm perfectly capable of replumbing whatever needs to be replumbed. Just not sure how to do it.

Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I should check the water pump amps?

I'm no expert but I don't think it is. Found in employee bathroom of restaurant. Barely ten year old building with luxury apartments upstairs.

Employee lockers are right outside the bathroom. Nowhere near food prep areas. No previous issues that I know of.

I didn't take pics, but DT across evap is 22°, 73-51. 5 Ton Trane RTU, 3 floors up, we're on the ground floor. All PM's done last month - evap/condenser cleaning and filter changes, pressures were checked, etc.

The pics show DT in the space is 13°. The 55.5° pic is the bottom of the supply trunk where it branches off into the space. The temp in the drop ceiling is about 3 degrees higher than in the space, and when it gets hot as the kitchen runs, I've seen it as high as almost 10 degrees higher in the drop ceiling.

Hoods are cleaned quarterly, MUA is freshly maintained as well, including cleaning the perforated supply vents. The entire facility is maybe seven years old.

This one return is supposed to be for three whole rooms, all actively running heat generating kitchen equipment. The inlet is six inches from a sheet of drywall. On the other side of that drywall is another room this return is supposed to service, to which there is zero connection except a doorway and that room is the hottest despite having three supply vents.

I'm still a novice at this stuff. Should this return be attached to the grille? Should there be more than one? Can I put a vent in the drywall right in front of that?

Why would I ever pay more than $20 for this?

Different iterations I went through before settling on the cover pic. Layers and layers of speckle went into thos before I was happy with the results.

I went with a white base originally but didn't end up liking it so I added a lot of black speckle to compensate.

There are actual additives you can use to thicken the paint, but I used cornstarch and water. Turn the air pressure down super low, fan pattern almost all the way shut and fluid all the way open. You gotta play with the air pressure a bit as you find the right consistency, plus wipe the nozzle a lot. But short blasts with a flick of the wrist gets you this pattern.

I only have two guns, so for white and black speckle, I saturated a wire brush's bristles with the color and flicked them with my fingers to get it to splatter.

I like it. This is a door handle for the main entrance to restaurant with a similar theme inside.

Looking to replace a 2-bay Ugolini machine with a blown evap. This is for a full time bar and will be running 7 days a week.

In your guy's experience, will these hold up to that level of use for 5-10 years? Or should I look for something better? We were hoping to find a used machine but I came across these.

Just a pair we keep around to cut the occasional lock. Went to use it the other day, it cut one lock but couldn't get through the thicker of the two, ended up grabbing an angle grinder. Both were off the shelf Masterlock padlocks. Not really something I wanna spend $60 to replace if I don't have to.

The explanation is in the video. Basically the beer trunk condensates inside the tower and leaks out. Trying to make it stop condensating.

Is the best option for this to pull the lines, insulate them properly, then re-run them?

Cleaning some floor vents so I can repaint them.

The thumbscrew in the back seems to be the ticket, but loose or tight, it still doesn't want to budge. There are locking tabs that fit into the bracket to hold it down, but I can't slide it to the left or right at all. I tries lifting just the front, just the back. No idea how to get them off without unscrewing the tabs from the wood, which I'd like to avoid doing in case any of them are stripped.

Doing a minor renovation in an ice cream shop. Those are decals on the wall. The decals can't be replaced. I have a plan to touch up some of the less intricate parts of the decal, but as you can see there are some pretty heavy gouges.

I'm sure I can manage filling the dents without too much hassle, but it's the painting that worries me after.
