long story short -

ordered uber share, driver did not show up, changed the status to picked up & never grabbed me lol

i ended up cancelling to rebook, but got a lyft faster.

i have all the screenshots & my positioning vs drivers at the same time, but uber has not responded.

this has never happened to me before, so i have no idea what to expect.

i just want my money back for a ride that never even happened

She was racist and a pretty vile woman. But she was always on a "weight loss journey".

I was incharge of meals almost daily, so I used to spike her food with lots of extra calories from oils to sugars - literally anything high in calories by the gram was crammed into every. single. meal. consumed.

To this day i see this as my most powerful and significant revenge and it makes me giggle each time.

I would also lie about the calories & so she would allow herself lots of snacks hehehehehehehehehe

Changed from Rogers to Fizz, could not port Rogers number to Fizz, so I got a new cool number.

Called Rogers to cancel plan.
Agent 1 offered me a plan at a heavily discounted price.
Had already updated ALL my information with new Fizz number, So tried to port over to Rogers.
Agent 1 said it was not possible so changed my number to a similar one, did it mid call
Call dropped - with no proper call closure.

Speak to Agent 2 about the plan that was offered & what happened on call with Agent 1
Agent 2 tells me she can port my number and then tells me to call back to apply the plan that was offered.
Successfully port Fizz number to Rogers.

Call again, Agent 3 says he cannot help me, so tries to pass me on to supervisor. No supervisor available, tells me to try the next day. ( It was late anyway )

Call again. Agent 4 says he can't help me. He is slightly demeaning & calls me illogical, so I say get your QA to pull up the call data. Finally speak to a Supervisor.

Supervisor offers me a plan that is $30 more than offered price. Applies an RPP discount, but I am not part of said institution / company, if audited I would lose that discount. Also feel like this is something that is not allowed.

Raise a ticket with OOP, miss the call because I was in the shower. Call back, need an extention code. There is no EXT anywhere.

Is it worth raising this to the CCTS? It has been such a fuckaround and i genuinely CBA anymore. Like tbh I would do it just to be a pain in the ass

My body is like in panic attack mode?? My phone is feeling like it is expanding in my hands and my hands feel like they are shrinking. I tend to lose my understanding of sensation and feelings when I have panic attacks? Like things go big go small my perception is just non-existent in these moments??????

But my brain feels like oddly calm and not really panicky? It is just my body going off right now? Like I don't feel my typical impending doom or like any real fear?? My heart rate is 88 bpm as im in bed ( this is not unusual for me )

Maybe because I am so incredibly confused but what the hell is going on??????? Have I just confused myself out of my panic attack????

Hey all, I will keep it blunt and short.
Relocated to Canada in May, only found work at the tail end of June ( I started looking in April, before immigrating). Should have saved more money prior to moving, but due to long covid & expenses at a cardiologist, I was unable to be as financially prepared as I had hoped for.

This is a full time role, however my hours keep getting cut and they do this in the middle of the work week. I went from 37 hours to 22 hours in 3 weeks. I am actively seeking part time jobs and gigs to supplement the loss of income, however the job market is proving it to be extremely difficult.

I need $200 CAD to cover rent which is due by 31/07/26.

I have $850 coming in roughly 07/08/26, and the moment It hits my bank, I will send it back.

I can send proof of that income coming in, alongside proof of my employment + pay stubs.

I wish shoppers would stop shoving phones in my face without saying hey, or any acknowledgment of my existence!

It was never really an issue until recently, where at least 4 out of 5 of my interactions are just people not speaking and shoving me a phone. I wish I was exaggerating, but genuinely, people don't even ask " where is this " or " help me " anymore. And after there is no thank you??

And do not get me wrong - there are still lovely shoppers out there, but it is SO incredibly dehumanising when they behave this way. I would love to help but have the decency to say Hello.... Infact, I will go out of my way to help if I have the ability to do so.

It takes less than 3 seconds to say " Hello, Do you know where this is. " or " Hey, Can you help me? "

Another thing that has continued to get worse is the entitlement to help. If I am unable to help, I will direct the shopper to customer service, so that the correct member of staff can be paged to help. Then all that happens after is a sigh and they storm off. Mate I am not a crystal ball.

Was wondering if I could get any help with this.

Context:
My Grandmother was in BC when she passed away in 1999, at St Pauls Hospital. According to my Grandad ( based in the UK ), there is a plaque somewhere in the hospital for her.

I only just moved here, have no idea where to start.
Would a plaque from 1999 still be around?

And are the plaques in the actual hospital - or are they in a seperate area like a garden / remembrance hall?

My Grandad is getting up in age and would like to see the plaque again.

Sometimes after I hang out with my boyfriend I get sad because I miss him. Sometimes I worry that i'm being too needy or clingy, then I remember

It's almost been 2 years and I still get the butterflies, when he smiles I still feel nervous. I still giggle when he looks at me.

After flying back and forth - We made it through the distance of over 12000 KM and finally live in the same city.

I get overwhelmed with everything sometimes. It is a big change to my life, but when I see him It washes away & the world stops mattering to me.

Missing him is a reminder that we made it. Having the opportunity to miss him & his company is a privilege, and I hope to have the privilege to miss him for the rest of my life.

Context ; all 5 girls are on either student or working holiday visas.

we have a mice problem. our rental agent said she would bring in mouse traps ( has not brought traps ) but apparently this has been an issue for more than 6 months and apparently has not been dealt with at all. last 2 ladies moved out due to this issue ( i moved in 2 weeks ago and have seen the mice 3 times so far!!!!! was not informed prior to move in )

I am staying long term permanently under my own circumstances; and i have been considering adopting a cat once i am financially ready.

The girls in the house have also been discussing this - prior to my arrival, in the hopes of a cat being helpful in deterring the mice in the house as both landlord and rental agent have been unsuccessful and do not want to hire any form of pest control experts. We are not even allowed to use chemicals to unclog our sinks ??????

They are all willing to pitch in with all medical, food, litter & emotional wellbeing of the cat, but we are not sure about the legalities in regards to this. ( Reiterating that i will ONLY be adopting when financially capable to also handle this on my own, in a few months give or take! ) We have discussed at length boundaries and how we would manage a cat in the household.

We are at our wits end. We keep the house clean but the mice are going to be mice, and clearly our landlord will not hire professional help.

I want to note, I have lived with cats ( and owned + trained dogs ) , taken care of them and absolutely adore animals. I would be adopting > shopping & I know this is a lifelong commitment and will have funds prepared for a worst case scenario if I am unable to remain in canada long term.

Is there any loophole for me to adopt a household cat? especially if a landlord will not hire professional pest control? ( he wont even replace a broken stove set or hire a cleaner for our central vents- he insists on repairs that DO NOT WORK )

I recently permanently moved from SEA to NA.

In the midst of my move, I decided to hop back onto wild rift since my PSU is incompatible with Canadian sockets and my PC cant be used.

I contacted support to get started on my Valorant account transfer, only to be told wild rift is fully region locked.
meaning i cannot access any of my skins that i paid for, which i had absolutely no idea was a thing.

I know with LOL it is paid transfers, Valorant is a 14 day login spree from the same IP, and so i assumed Wild Rift would be one or the other but no!!!

does anyone here know if account migration will be a thing in the future? cos if not, i am genuinely pretty disheartened and frustrated.
