I’m a Turkish speaker who wants to gain experience in game localization by helping indie developers translate their games into Turkish.
I’m offering my work completely for free. I’m not looking for payment I simply enjoy localization and want to build my portfolio while helping games reach more Turkish players.
I’m mainly looking for small projects, since I do this in my free time and don’t want to commit to very large games. If your game has a relatively small amount of text, I’d be happy to take a look.
In return, I’d only appreciate a small credit in the game’s localization or credits section, including my Instagram handle (if possible).

Hi everyone!
I’m 16 years old and I’m a complete beginner when it comes to translation. I don’t really feel confident enough to join a fansub team yet, because I’m still trying to figure out whether translation is something I truly enjoy and want to keep doing.
So I’d like to translate an English webtoon into Turkish as practice. I’m looking for something action/adventure-oriented rather than romance something with a more mature tone. Series that give off vibes similar to One Piece, Demon Slayer, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or other adventure/action stories would be perfect.
I’m doing this completely for free. If you like my translation, you’re welcome to post it on your Webtoon account or platform. I don’t want any payment I just want to improve my skills and have something real to show as part of my experience.
The only thing I’d ask is that, if you plan to publish it, please wait until I’ve translated at least half of the series. That way, if I realize translation isn’t for me or I decide not to continue, you won’t end up with an abandoned project.

I'm a high school student trying to plan my future. My English is already around C1, and I want to study abroad someday.

I'm really interested in both Japan and Italy. I enjoy the Japanese language more, and I've always been fascinated by Japanese culture. However, I also have several Italian friends, so I feel like moving to or studying in Italy might be easier for me because I'd already know people there. That's one of the reasons I also want to learn Italian.

I'm having a hard time deciding which language I should prioritize. Japanese is much harder, but I enjoy it more. Italian seems more practical for my situation.

If you were in my position, which language would you focus on first, and why? I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have studied or lived in Japan or Italy.

I used to have an Instagram account dedicated to making football edits. Even after creating around 40 edits, only about 20–30 people who weren't already my friends or acquaintances followed me. Honestly, that was very demotivating, especially because I was posting consistently. Most of my videos also got fewer than 1,000 views.

Later, I created two edit accounts on TikTok. One was focused on Barcelona edits. On that account, one video reached 40,000 views, but none of the others managed to get more than 5,000 views. Despite that, my follower count stayed in the twenties.

My other account was dedicated to Demonstrator edits. I made around 40 edits there as well, but that account didn't grow either.

Across all of these accounts, I posted videos regularly, and seeing none of them gain traction really hurt my motivation.

What do you think I can do to make my accounts grow? I'm thinking about starting a new edit account, but I don't want the same thing to happen again.
