Holy fuck you guys it was so good! If you're in the NY area, definitely go see it! The cast was great and the effects were amazing. There's still a few "scares" I'm not entirely sure how they pulled it off. Best part though was the audience. Having people around you also gasping and screaming made it so much fun

any optimism that this won't work?

definitely need some optimism about this. i know NY has had a red governor in the past, but that is the last thing we need right now. especially with mamdani in office - i don't want a red governor messing with him.

During the Underworld sequence, I wish Odysseus also saw his mother like in the original story. She died of a broken heart while waiting for him to return and he's so devastated and tries to hug her but because she's only a shade he can't. It would've been a very powerful moment.

Any optimism?
