ICYMI Jack O'Connell (Cook) is in the upcoming movie 'Ink', which is about Larry Lamb and Rupert Murdoch. Recently, it's come out that the director Danny Boyle used AI for a scene and people are understandably pissed. I'm worried that this is going to damage Jack's acting career, which is a shame because it seemed like it was really taking off lately

Obviously concerned about this since they just announced the next No Kings protest. Any optimism?

This is incredibly disturbing. Judge ruled that AI generated child p*rn is protected under the 1st amendment because they're not "real" children. I know he's asking SCOTUS to look at this for clarity but I don't trust them to do the right thing. Any optimism?

I really need some optimism regarding ICE. It looks like they're ramping up again. Also doesn't help that there was an article today about how Minnesota tried to charge one agent for a shooting earlier this year but he fled to texas and the judge refused to extradite him and now he's been released. is there any hope at all that these monsters will face the consequences of their actions?

I'm interested in pursing both directing and stage managing as a career. I think it'd be a good fit for me since I still like theater but don't want to act. The problem is I have little to no experience. and I highly doubt a professional theater is going to hire as someone as green as me.

So what can I do to help build up my experience and learn? Do I take a class? Do I volunteer? Or do I just keep applying for jobs and hope for the best?

Pretty much all of the cast except Amber Gray is leaving. Wouldn't be surprised if there's tears during Luke Evans's "I'm Going Home".
