Localised bleaching - cause and impact?

Localised bleaching - cause and impact?

Went away for two weeks so put an extra (but, so I thought, not excessive) number of chlorine tablets in a floater and left pool as is. Not pumping during that time.

On return, a small area of the floor (BESTWAY) has bleached, apparebtly below where the floater settled for the period (alternative theory is somehow it got concentrated sunlight during the two weeks of constant heatwave conditions).

Was the chlorine the cause?, and what is the potential short and medium term impact? Is the floor, now more likely to give out this season and/or crack during winter dry storage?

Recommendations for single track

I am an experienced mountain biker, but haven't really looked at the market for a decade.

My main bike is a rigid fork surly krapus, which I use in all terrain but mostly multi-day touring. I would like a decent but low- to mid-price lighter, full suspension or aggressive hardtail suitable for gnanlier single track and downhill.

UK budget £1500 prior to cycle to work discount.

Toseven dm02 on Gazelle Cabby longjohn?

Have picked up an ancient cargobike. Most enthusiasts' blogs - mostly written prior to the bike being discontinued ~2016 - recommend a Bafang mid drive for e-conversion.

I'd prefer a toseven for its torque sensor, but not sure if anyone's managed to make this work with the specific geometry and non-standard bottom bracket of the GC?

Local ebike convertor?

Have picked up an ancient cargo bike with Internet consensus being a mid drive motor being the best option for e-conversion. Would be looking for a fully road legal option.

Working on a budget but for peace of mind (carrying kids) would rather be done by a shop/professional rather than DIY.

Can travel around Sussex.

Where can I get decent everyday walking sandles?

Brought some 'nice' sandels - £80 Teva walking sandles - at the beginning of the summe4 and already falling apart.

What uk - preferably, store-available for correct sizing - brands are actually going to last a while?

UK, light 'gravel' offroader

Looking for a <£500 UK option, mostly for occasional commuting and with enough sturdinee for, e.g chalk doubletrack recreational riding.

Would probably favour new from eg decathlon or dahon over Asian import or second hand listing's (once stung etc etc)

Hardwater: is the inbuilt water filter good enough? [bambino plus]

Got partner the above as gift.

We live in a very hard water area, don't filter our tap water as taste is nice, but our kettles etc quickly and thickly scale.

Is the internal filter on the bambino plus (plus the advised scaling cycle) good enough; or should we pre-filter with eg a britta jug?

Given the explosion in popularity of marathon running atm, just wondering what proportion are done on road vs off road courses.

Personal preference only, I'm a plodding (only a couple of times going sub 4 hour) marathon runner but have near-exclusively done off road marathons for my 30+ marathons, preferring scenery and variety of terrain over atmosphere.

Grew up with this game, in the uk, and just rediscovered with my kid in pub.

Can't remember however how to deal with the fact that '2 or more pegs of the same colour are allowef in the code'.

Here, the codebreaker put a single red peg In their first guess:

In response, The codemaster gave: one black pin (correct colour, correct posistion) for the far-righthand red peg; plus two white pins (correct cour, wrong location) for the blue and green pegs.

Should the codemaster have given an additional white peg, for the same single red pin in the guessers first go?
