My red flag bs detector is going off on this Don Toliver post

I Think theyre just hiring security guards but they're calling it casting for music video. They need 30 security guards for each date of the tour to "play body guards." Has anyone done this gig on a previous show and can vouch for its legitmacy? The ai art is a big red flag too.

Is there a general consensus on what the industry standard is for commercial actor headshots?

These are not my work, but they encompass the two styles of commercial actor headshots. Colorful studio lighting and background vs outdoor natural lighting and location background. Which of these conveys more of an actor's personality with no distractions that casting directors prefer? Or is there no preference or industry standard?

Anyone getting their first vinyl pressed soon?

I'm a filmmaker doing a documentary on physical media. Would be cool to chat and film you opening your first record when it arrives. Ty

Durham vs Pittsburgh

Basically title. Both have variations of things i love.

Durham has more attractive things (better airport, proximity to beach, higher pay, family nearby), but several annoying obstacles.

Pittsburgh is easier to get established in and cheaper. I lived there before and liked it.

Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years experience seeking non client-facing roles

I am a licensed mental health counselor of about 10 years. I have a MA and licensed to practice in TX, CA, and WA state. I'm near Zilker.

I am ready and wanting to shift into non client-facing roles. In my 10 years I've done a lot of work related to intake/admission, training staff, clinical quality, EHR work, interviewing and recruitment, supervision, and billing/utilization management.

Let me know if I could be a good fit with you, or if you know anywhere that is hiring someone such as myself. The role does not need to be mental health related, but happy to utilize my skills in other areas.

Thank you.

How to shift out of client-facing roles after 10 years in the field?

I am a licensed mental health counselor of about 10 years. I have a MA and licensed to practice in TX, CA, and WA state.

I am ready and wanting to shift into non client-facing roles. In my 10 years I've done a lot of work related to intake/admission, training staff, EHR work, interviewing and recruitment, supervision, and billing/utilization management.

I keep applying to mental health companies like Charlie Health, Headway, Lyra, etc. and get automatically rejected even after tailoring my resume to the roles I am applying for.

Evidently, I may be running into a hurdle of I am seeing as "over-qualified" for intake or billing roles, seen as a flight risk due to my time in private practice business ownership, and/or I am "under-qualified" for actually clinical quality and informatics.

I would LOVE to speak to other therapists who made this transition, but I can't seem to find anyone.

local screen printer for three or four shirts only?

I have 2 shirt designs I want made for myself only.

I have an old Alamo Drafthouse shirt that's a size medium, but I am now a size XL. So I want the graphic to go on a XL shirt.

I also have and inside joke graphic with a friend that I want made into a shirt.

I don't need bulk orders like a lot of the printing companies here do, and I don't want to use an online retailer. And these are not going to be for sale. Just for personal use.

Anyone you'd recommend lmk ty.

Edit: what part of LOCAL don't you understand. I want to pay a LOCAL ARTIST not fucking ZAZZLE

Launching my Friends App that is NOT an Escort Service

I am a Production Implementation Manager of People. Or PIMP for short.

I have developed an App for all the lonely people looking for friends in Austin.

I know what you're thinking. How has no one thought of this before?!

Well that's the problem I have decided to fix. Tech bros and Apps may have created the isolation problem and made you afraid to say hi, but this fixes all that!

The pitch? You hire a FRIEND from our roster to join you on outings and events in the city so you don't have to feel awkward and alone. Movie theaters, restaurants, parks, hotels, it's all on the table!

You can also upgrade to PLATINUM for special additional perks and services!

I know you can't wait to get started and explore this amazing city you just moved to so you can work remotely and never go outside. My FRIENDS will make you feel good and right at home!
