Is Catsburgs gamertag is BowieKnife99?
bro straight up pit maneuvered the Mustang for no reason. Corvette fans saying he got squeezed while he had at least 2 car widths space at all time
-_-

Im about to take off the upper manifold to replace the cam sensor, just want to make sure
The model is not a 1:1, but the movement is a close as I could get it.
Before anyone asks why Im not using Autodesk: We are being forced to use catia lmao
Hi,
my car is driving great, but the idle was always very annoying.
Its easy to write it off as „yeah that just how M44s run“ and thats how I‘ve been living with this for the last 10k km.
But Im not talking about the sound, its the uncontrolled random shaking of the engine during idle (hot or cold) that you cant even really see on video :/
The car starts up nice and right away no matter what btw.
all points likely related to the issue:
(most parts are OEM, just a few OE quality):
- DISA revised, checked for function
- CCV new, nearby parts cleaned + hose
- all vacuum and air hoses, excluding the fuel return line (doing that next) and the small ones under the top manifold (no part number)
- Injectors cleaned, new intake gaskets
- ICV new
- new spark plugs
- new fuel filter
- new air filter
- cleaned air box (foam removed)
things I did that are likely not related:
- complete OEM cooling overhaul
(pump, thermostat, hoses, fan clutch, radiator, etc)
- new starter
- new belt + tensioner
- new engine mounts
- new transmission mounts
- last 3 oil changes all around ~5k km
- Friedrich Motorsport Gruppe A stainless steel exhaust (after catalytic converter)
- new exhaust bushings
Im sure Im missed some, but if you found anything missing which could be the problem, pls let me know. I really love this car and Im running out of ideas.
If you need any more info to point out an issue, pls ltm.
mileage: >174.000km
service record has a few gaps, but the car has been somewhat loved and maintained.
These mounting kits seem way overpriced for the simple looking little brackets they are.
Im sure BMW is using an off the shelf e36 clamping mechanism and it just needs a metal angle piece to hold it in the right place…
all that shouldnt cost more than ~100€
Has anyone done it already? Are there people willing to measure out their oem mounting kids so I can 3D Model and create a replication?
This is BMWs early concept of a Z3 race car.
Only 1 build and currently in the BMW Classic Collection near Spatenburg.
It is not a fully functional version, but more of a design concept.
The last 2 pictures show the actual car that competed in the Nürburgring 24h race.
All screenshots are from the Petersen Museum YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/RoaJjGVGvWk?is=us2gvb1U307WuEVn
I cant hear this sh*t anymore lmao. The double standards are crazy
took my 1.9 for a 1000km weekend trip to the german north sea and back
I got 600km to travel to the ring in a really old car and I would like to know if anyone can give live reports on the camping situation
Im arriving wednesday evening or thursday morning (still undecided)
The Eventguide website sadly doesnt include the GP track camping sites :/
thx
finally got around to capturing some sound and driving videos with my Z3, headphones recommended ;)
