Just this Once
I'm always being the peace keeper
The one who breaks the silence when it gets too quiet and makes everyone comfortable again.
The one who listens without judgment and helps you reach your goals in whatever you want.
The one who makes time when needed and will say, "I'll be there soon" without worrying about myself
The one who will help you out of the darkness you sometimes fall in and say "it'll all be okay. We all need help sometimes. You can tell me."
But just this once I want to disappear and not be part of this world that beats me down everyday
But just this once I want to find that peace i tell others to find, but i can't seem to find myself
But just this once I want to be selfish and find that happiness I've been searching for all these years
Just this once, I want be chosen. The one that someone wants to keep and cherish.
Just this once I wanna feel like I have a purpose in this life. Someone to come home to. Someone that will say, "I'm never letting you go. Thank you for being here."
