Hi guys, I'm new here. I've only recently become interested in knives and dug out a Lansky from my closet that I got from a friend a decade ago. I only used it at home, mainly for opening packages, then it fell into oblivion.

I want to sharpen it and clean it. Can I do it with this sharpener? I also see some dents on the tip of the knife. Can I do it myself at home, or should I take it to someone who sharpens knives?
