Looking for something to do? Not from here.

Hi, I’m here for about another week by myself. I’m here helping someone that is hospitalized so that takes up a good chunk of time but in my free time all I do is sit in my hotel room and watch the only English TV channel I can find and drink.

Before the person had to go to the hospital we did some touring around old Montreal, went to that giant old church and also went to St.Josephs church ( I’m not religious but do enjoy big odd buildings)

Tomorrow I’m going to check out the Cosmodome. I’m looking for some other simple and not to distant things to do in my down time. Thanks everyone for your ideas.

What a nice surprise. When u/sarcasm-o-rama said to try out the Wok Box’s poutines I almost thought it was a joke. I was planning on posting this in the fast food section but after going to the west side Wok Box it deserves its own number. If you haven’t been, check out the Wok Box on Betts Ave. It’s a legit restaurant.

The poutine consisted of: Fries, cheese curds, beef strips, sweet teriyaki “gravy”, Lime aioli, green onions

Fries: Nice brown crispy fries. Not salted but they had a really good texture and crunch. They barely got soggy.

Cheese curds: a little light on the amount and mostly buried away and hard to notice. They were there and when you found them they were ok.

The “gravy”: I put it in quotations because it was a sweet teriyaki sauce and not really gravy. Added what you need in a poutine to make it not dry but it was too sweet for my taste to be a fair substitute for gravy.

Aioli sauce: It was good zesty sauce that wasn’t over powering

Beef: The beef strips were cooked well, not chewy and made the poutine feel like a meal

I’d like to rate it higher because my expectations were low but I’ll give it

6.7/10

Better than nothing I guess. I gotta find some friends that enjoy this to get out more. Hope you all had a fun season

I thought the game worked like most rouge games where the game cycle is the same but you get a little stronger each run and should get a little further as well. I am finding the game is getting more difficult in the early stages as I unlock stuff. I’m facing more special enemies, more enemies and the bosses are changing their patterns and attacks. the furthest run I have had was my very first run with no special upgrades. what am I missing?
