I played this game because i saw the white haired girl with a long sword, and luckily i got her within my first 10 pull, she is so badd, also the combat is interesting imo, it's a lot more Intiuative than a lot of modern gachas that i've played where it's just e skill+basic+ult (i do like ZZZ parry system tho) my favorite right now is crimson weave, her entrance/exit animation are so cool, she's so badddd gahdamn, that being said tho, i've seen people say the early chapters are bad, and tbh story-wise yea it has not impressed me.

I'm only in like chapter 6-7 but man... it's kinda exhausting im ngl, every chapter i've played so far, i've just been trying to lock in and failing, because i WANT to love this game and glaze it to highest degree, this is the first gacha i've spent some amount of money on because i really wanted that crimson weave skin with a goth? vibe (idk what it's called) she's such a fukin BADDIE with black outfit holy fuuhh bruh i lost gallons to her already DAMN, but it really hasn't grabbed me the same way something like Arknights did for me, or most gachas that i've played honestly has gripping starting points, with maybe the exception of Wuwa, Jinzhou was also kinda mid to me, maybe i'm starting to get old, or maybe it's just skill issue.

Do i just keep on blasting through the story (and blasting my shi on white hair girl, cuz DAMN) expecting something eventually? or should i maybe reset my brain and play Inverse crown event story(idk if it has relevant spoilers, lemme know) because just seeing badass white hair swordsgirl make me feel things.

in terms of how it hooks you, how it introduces the world, characters, and conflict, which one do you think was more of a better experience?

idk if it's all waifei characters, since i don't have most of em, but for the ones i did, Seed, YSG, and Yuzuha, their trust events where they watch movies are set in sixth street video store, idk if it's just me who was bothered by it, but i thought it was a bit lazy to just make characters from waifei have their trust event be set in sixth street/port elpis/Lumina square, with a few exceptions, because we literally took an airship to get there, so it was a bit immersion breaking, also i just personally think it would've been more intimate/romantic if we were snug in our makeshift room in suibian.

i appreciate that trust events in Roscalifier so far where we watch a film together is actually in our room now, it's hard to explain, but it just feels more "homely"

Endfield environmental design has always been good, Wuling looks great, but i really can't wait how they will cook up with other aesthetics

It might be overstated, but i think it would be cool if she just gets a bunch of bangboo army to jump the enemy, also for Lindverne specifically, i think there's a pretty high chance that she just has a cool and badass absurdly long sword for aura purposes, also, i have no proof whatsoever, but i think it would be kinda cool if she has some powers involving fissures/portals

The first time somebody told me that, I dunno, I thought they were bullshitting me, so, boom...I shot him! The thing is... He was right. And then I started seeing, everywhere I looked, everywhere I looked all these fucking pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same fucking thing... over and over and over and over again thinking, 'This patch is gonna be different, no, no, no please... This patch is gonna be different'.

Lowkey mixed about it, has some interesting themes, messages, story etc...

but sometimes the execution is kinda a hit or miss, especially the dialogue, brochacho just sometimes hits us with the most unsubtle goofy edgy aah moral scaling statements, sometimes it actually feels like it's written for 14 year old atheists who just discovered reddit.
