Writer's block

I've been stuck for months unable to write my next chapter. I feel really guilty but I'm just stuck, I feel like this chapter has alot of pressure on it as it is when they finally talk again after a fight and I know everyone is going to be mad they dont immediately make up.

I'm also stuck on a comparison I'm trying to make. I want one of the protagonists to have a conversation with his friend about constellations while star grazing while struggling to sleep after the disappointment that day. I wanted him to tell the story of a constellation thats about someone failing to get their love and then his friend will say something like maybe they would have succeeded with help. Then they can plot together to win her back and we see their scheme next chapter.

I originally had it the constellation Lyra and have the story of Orpheus going to hades but loosing faith last minute but that doesn't feel right. I need a different story to use but I honestly can't think of a right one to use.

My wife castrated me

I created my own character so it was very important to have lots of children for the dynasty. I gained the trait ill and my wife is a herbalist and offered to treat me. Next thing you know I gain the traits eunuch and scarred.

I'm really disappointed as I wanted more children. Luckily we already have two sons but I would have loved a daughter to make an alliance with. My first born is a disappointed but my second born is pretty decent. Unfortunately I can't afford to loose either.

I wouldn't have minded if it was later in the game and their were more members to my dynasty.

Jon snow with a valyrian looking twin sister

I started reading a fanfic ages ago and now I'm trying to find it again. It was set the same as ASOIAF but Jon had a twin sister that looked very Targaryen.

I think they used some cover about their mother being from Lys but I may be wrong.

The story started out with them getting ready for Robert Baratheon and the Lannisters arriving the same as Game of Thrones begins with.

If i remember correctly the first chaper was from her pov and she mentioned her father looking at her with worried. I think because it was harder to hide her heritage.

Affordable hybrid NSW

Does anyone have recommendations on flooring warehouses in Sydney?

We are located the other side of the Blue mountains and have a truck coming Sydney with our furniture and he is happy to pick up from a warehouse in Sydney. We have quotes locally but want to keep options open. It would be awesome if we could just buy direct but I'm worried about going somewhere without having someone who's already had that brand in their home for a few years who can tell me how it has held up.

I've already spoken to Embelton and I am currently looking through their range.

Extreme temperatures and hybrid flooring

I've been told there's issues with hybrid in places with really hot summers and cold winter. We are in rual NSW and apparently hybrid flooring isn't common on this side of the blue mountains and vinyl is recommended instead.

Has anyone had this problem? Mum has it and lives in the same area and is fine however her's is only in one room. We were hoping for hybrid because it is more forgiving when it comes to sub floor being completely level and easier to install ourselves.

Struggling with spacing and finding the right drawers

Sorry about the very very rough drawing.

Ive got a wall thats 220cm long and 240 cm tall. I've been doing the maths with different ikea items and everything seems like it would have too much of a gap. I'm also struggling to work out a draw that would be right as well. I really want it to be massive and soft close.

The goal is to have 2 or 3 or 4 losts of book shelves (which fits best) with 1 or 2 large draws under each one.

I'm going to make glass door for the book shelves that looks arched.

Rural Fertility Clinics NSW

Hello,

We've got our first appointment with IVF Australia Dubbo on Monday so this is possibly abit premature.

I'm honestly feeling overwhelmed. We are hoping to do IUI using donor sperm and I don't know anyone else who's done it. We live over an hour from Dubbo but its our closest clinic. Has anyone used IVF Australia's Dubbo clinic?

Getting started with Native violets

Hello I'm based in NSW in an Arid zone and want to replace my lawn with Native Violets. I saw some people had very good results by using the plug method but theres currently none growing on the property to nick from. Growing from seed seems the most economical but I've heard thats not often successful because they take ages to germinate.

Has anyone had success with growing from seed? If so any tips, tricks, or recommendations on supplier?

Australian native lawn alternative? (If not just drought hardy)

Hello,

I'm looking for something that will be very short (worried about snakes) that cover the yard while handling dogs and children running on it. My goal is low maintenance and water efficient.

Its a massive block thats gets plenty of shade from the trees in an Arid area, we have hot dry summer's, our winter's are cold but not as bad as neighbouring areas.

Lounge room layout

Here is our current lounge room layout. The furniture is how the previous owner had it we are moving in about a fortnight. We're talking out the carpet then buying the furniture to go in the room. We current don't have any found room furniture so its very bare.

The French doors on the top of image lead out to the verandah and we've always had BBQ's with friends when we rented our old place. (Before we got rid of alot of our furniture to save while living with family) and we are very excited to get back to it.

We are working out the direction to have the hybrid floors go as well.

Australian native living fence alternative?

Hello! I've loved living willow structures forever and always wanted to incorporate on into my future garden. I am currently in the process of buying my first home and live in Arid NSW (zone 4) My plan is to create a drought tolerant garden ideally with lots of native plants.

Can anyone suggest any native Australian plants that could be used instead?
