I'm pretty early on into my career as an IT professional earning 80k in a medical IT company
Having 2 previous IT jobs before that.
I studied a bachelor's and did a cyber cert.
Personally, I don't know what I want other than just more money to be able to comfortably buy a home with my partner.
To be clear, I'm not in this purely for the money and genuinely enjoy many aspects of working in IT and learning, however, I feel tired with this industry and everyone who talks about it says the amount of lay offs and decrease in junior salary packages has put them off from IT or they are still struggling to find a role.
I definitely find interest in broad concepts such as technology, cybersecurity and mostly enjoy the ability to convey technical concepts to non technical people.
However, to be honest, I don't know what I want. I can't pin point a specific technology I like over the other because I like everything in this space.
I considered even jumping to other industries such as solar sales or just risking it all and starting a online business.
My question is moreso, how did you find out what you wanna do? How did you know your career path?
I'm thinking about applying to several IT roles.
If you are a hiring manager/manager
In government, what are you looking out for in a person trying to enter into the APS specifically in tech fields.
Does it differ much from the private sector?
I have a bachelor's in IT and certs in cybersec, worked a few it jobs at big corps but looking to cater my resume / cover letter for more government roles with stability.
Surely it's hard to be traced back by Rockstar.
Imagine a employee wants to take a photo of their screen from their phone of the game or some gameplay footage and then upload it to a throwaway Reddit account.
Are their computers constantly monitored and proctored?
Shouldn't it have happened by now?
Is there something stopping people other than fear of their NDA?
I thought with all of the "overtime/labour" scandals that the employees would wanna rebel a little.
Anyway just a thought.
I'm feeling kind of stuck. I earn. 80k in an IT job in Sydney but don't know how to move up into a more technical or managerial level.
I recently passed the CompTIA security+ cert and would still say I'm a junior in IT.
I have a bachelor's in it, majoring in networking and cyber.
It doesn't seem like there's gonna be any GTA 5 DLCs and they just released the game on PC...
Do you think they working on GTA 6
Okay my battery on a 2018 outlander has 30km of range left.
Which is enough for daily trips.
However, if the range eventually becomes less than 5km and I wanna take out the battery. Is this possible? Rather than replacing the whole battery?
If I can take it out then at least I can reduce the weight due to not needing a generator or dead battery as dead weight.
What's the original post that lead to all this talk?
Also I feel the fact of even mentioning it releasing tomorrow makes Rockstar less likely to release it.
Maybe I'm wrong.
I live in Sydney and just passed with 790.
What TF do I do? Does this help my resume? Is there a better cert to be doing next or should I just get more experience in It before moving to security?
I earn 80k aud per year as a IT engineer
Ive got 200 000km on the dash and 30km of EV battery range.
When does the car start conking out and having issues?
