Well played Pakistan for the bronze medal in Vollyeball

As an Indian, there are not many sports where I aspire that Indian team would be as good as Pakistan but this is definitely the one. Congrats to you guys. Hopefully we improve to make it a fair fight next time.

How would Iran war even work if Democrats take the house?

Let's say Democrats overwhelmingly take the Congress. As soon as they are sworn in, they pass a resolution/act on Janury 21, 2027 saying Iran war is illegal. What's the realistic outcome here?

- Either Trump haphazardly withdraws troops and blockade and everything from the region

- He ignores Congress and continues the war the way it's going right now.

These are the two most realistic outcomes and neither seems to be a good one.

Any YouTuber who can be considered Indian counter part of Alex O' Connor?

I am not an atheist myself but I still like how Alex O'Connor approaches his own religion (Christianity). He used to be a cocky atheist, or what came to be known as "new atheist".

But in the last few years, by his own admission, he has become agnostic i.e. he doesn't go out to prove god doesn't exist and approaches religious texts with curiosity rather than animosity while not abandoning scientific method or rationality. He's certainly very learned in Christianity scriptures. Do we have someone equivalent in terms of Vedic scripture or Hinduism in general? I'd love to listen to someone like that.

I have come across IIP's couple of videos but I understand not everyone is happy about his sources or his synthesis but that's besides the point, I just wanted to put it out there.

"Bookish" is back for season 2!

I enjoyed the season 1 (Not great but fun as far as medium stakes mysteries go). I didn't even know it was renewed for Season 2. All episodes have released so I'll probably give it a watch in the weekend.

Conslidation of Ten Avatars

I am sure the literature exists on this but I am unaware so I am asking this out loud.

Early brahminic traditions learned from Srmana movements. Ramayana and Mahabharata consolidated a lot of local mythology and incorporated into a big epic. Most of this seems to have been done to make Hinduism more palatable and more inclusive to pre-Hinduism beliefs and that makes sense.

Similarly, Dasavatars also seem amalgamation of multiple faiths to bring them under umbrella of one common gods of gods, Vishnu, in this case. Does anyone have a source or a hypothesis surrounding this on the original source or faith of each of the gods considered dasavatar?

Is hotstar editing content now????

I recently started watching The Office after ages and I realised they straight up removed ALL cold opens from Season 7 (may have been earlier too, I am not sure). And I mean ALL episodes. Why? Why would you do such a horrible thing. I am a repeat viewer but this ruins experience of first time viewers...

I love Bo now!

During my first ever watch of the show, I didn't care for Bo at all. He felt like a half-assed written character. However on multiple rewatches, I absolutely love this dude now. His disconnect from the reality is just so amazing.

"Yo for 20 grand you can stick whatever you want in either of us!" is an all-timer for me.
