Eufy rhythms on app

Okay I’ve searched this subreddit for the answer and none of the responses are helping. How do I use a rhythm on the Eufy app with the s1 pro that I’ve imported??? I see people saying find the DIY mode but I don’t see this anywhere on the app. This is what I see when I click the rhythm.

C section on Wednesday… could use some encouragement!

Hi all! First time visiting this community. My c section is scheduled to this Wednesday and my anxiety is starting to set in. This is our second child and we have a 2.5 year old at home. I went with a c section this time around due to past birth trauma. I had a 4the degree tear and while my doctors still let me choose, they advised I could have life long incontinence issues.

I’m so nervous about surgery and recovery. I’m also just nervous welcoming a new baby and how my current little one is going to feel with a new little one around the house. I’ve been doing a lot of work to prep her on welcoming a sibling, but you know toddlers are unpredictable haha. Could really use some encouragement!

IM BACK! Flower room update!

Okay for those of you that have seen my last few posts about making a “big girl room” for my toddler. I am FINALLY finished just in time to welcome our new baby this coming Wednesday. It has been a labor of love, but here is the final product. Some furniture had to be placed in certain positions due to air vents, studs for anchoring, and safety. Thank you all for your help!!

PS- Everything is anchored and secure including the picture frames. Don’t mind the bedspread…she only wants that flower blanket not the nice comforter I bought lol. Also, I’m SO glad I didn’t put the night stand under the window because now she has a fascination with looking out the window lol.

Okay back AGAIN!

Okay y’all! Back for the third time…and probably not the last!

I updated my previous post but it’s been a few days so I’m just going to make another post.

I have moved the bed to the opposite corner. I’m standing in the doorway taking the photo. The second and third picture show how close the dresser and end of the bed is.

In the opposite corner I was thinking a “reading nook” with a canopy and bookshelf on the left of the window

What do we think?

This room is for my toddler who will be moving from a crib to this twin bed for the first time which is why all the options have the bed up against the wall. I am also not done decorating so rug will be added, different lighting, and some art work on the other walls that aren’t covered in flowers.

I’m back again! Which way would you put the bed?

Okay a little bit ago I asked about a rug for this room and got some great advice…. And now I’m back!!

Which way would you put the bed? This will be my toddlers room so I’m trying to have it up again the wall so I don’t have to worry about her rolling off both sides.

Next photo in the comments. Outlet will be removed if we go with it this way. Also the night stand is not finished. It will look better when I’m done

Side note: I did get a rug and will post a finish room when I’m there! Stay tuned!!

Second time parent advice??

Hi!! I am due with a baby boy on July 1st. We currently have a lovely little toddler that will be 2.5 when new baby arrives. I am scheduled for a planned c section due to previous birth trauma so this will be a different recovery experience for me and I’m seeking some advice for those of you with multiple children.

The first time around I tried to breastfeed and it didn’t go well so my husband and I ended up having to combo feed with bottles. When we did this, we moved into a shift schedule where he would take nights and sleep in and I would take the day shift and wake up with baby. If I remember correctly, I would go to sleep for the night from 10PM to about 5 AM (although I’d have to pump in the middle of the night) and he would go to sleep somewhere around 3/4am and wake up at 10 am for the day. This was two years ago so my hours may be off a bit.

This time will be different. Now we have a toddler who wakes up for the day around 7:30/8AM. She also goes to day care during the week. I’m working with a lactation consultant and plan to breastfeed. I will also be recovering from a c section so I won’t be able to lift my daughter for a while (I don’t know exactly what recovery is like yet).

I’m thinking at least initially, I will need to take the night shift with baby so my husband can wake up with our toddler. My thought is I’d do nights because I’m also planning (fingers crossed) to breastfeed while my husband sleeps and gets up with our toddler to do our morning routine and take her to daycare during the week. I won’t be able to lift her or drive initially so I’d need help doing our normal routine anyways. When he comes home from daycare drop off, he could tend to the baby while I get some sleep. He works from home and has a very flexible schedule and is planning to lighten work for the first few months (only doing things when he has the time). I return to work after 12 weeks and was thinking that we’d switch the schedule to where he’d do any night wake ups because he can sleep in due to his flexible schedule where I have to get up, get our toddler up, and drop her off before I go to work. I plan to pump and introduce bottles before I return to work because baby will have to take a bottle while I’m gone for the day.

So I guess what I’m asking is…does my thinking sound okay? I know it’s a tentative “plan” and I’ll need to be flexible. How did your family manage caring for a newborn and a toddler??

TLDR: asking parents of multiple children how they organized themselves while having to get up with the older children to tend to them.

What rug would you pair?

What rug would you pair with these walls? This room is for my toddler”big girl room”. I’m going for a maximalist look with bright colors (obviously) and fun patterns. Her bed frame is a light pink and her dresser will be purple like the flowers on the wall. I’m having trouble thinking of a rug that will pair nicely but also isn’t $700. TIA!!
