DC Charging Speed

Hello everyone,

Me again with my silly questions. I googled about the DC Charging speed and it seems the P4 is rated for 200KW. But looking at the reddit and other post, it seems most people get 50kwh, maybe 75KW, specially under 10C. I already have a Bolt that take forever to charge at 35-40kwh, one of my goal with a new car is to go in that 20-30 charge rate for when I need it (like when I commute for holidays and such).

Were the issue fixed with the slow charging speed and forever precondition that I found online? What are you experience with charging the P4?

Thank you!

Edit: thinking about my post, I found out I didn't ask the right question. What I should ask is what are your experience on DC charging time? Is it really at 45-50min 10-80%? When I do long trip, I try to charge between 10 to 20% and charge to 80%. I'm trying to cut down that time. Experience in summer and winter

P4 and Android Phone

Hello everyone,

So, I know the Polestar 4, as an Android Car, doesn't have Android Auto but only Apple Carplay (wtf). I also know that we don't have an android app for the car (unless I'm wrong) so no control of the car remotly.

Now, beside that and the obvious of not sharing my android screen on the car itself, is there feature that I can still use with my phone? Can it still bluetooth pair for music and call? Can I still plug it so it'S usb passthrough?

What feature are possible and not possible with an android phone on that car?

Thank you!

Polestar feature

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if polestar 2 have a feature like I have on my bolt. The rear view mirror have a toggle where it switch to a wide angle camera display. I only tried a pilot version and since all automaker give this feature a different name, I'm unsure if any polestar have that.

Thank you

CMG - Warnings from Azure for Disk and VM series

Hello, everyone,

I received an email from Microsoft saying that old series of VM will have growth restriction. I'm unable to find a KB on it but multiple question on microsoft website and other website talking about.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/migration/sizes/previous-gen-series-capacity-limitations

I also saw when looking at my current VM a warning saying that my current HDD will be retired

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/disks-hdd-os-retirement

Now what I'm wondering, since this VM scale set was created by SCCM and we never did anything to it. Do we have to do something? Did anyone upgrade there VM by following the migration guide?

CMG is currently on the image 2022-datacenter as a Standard_a2_v2 machine with standard_HDD disk. Per de doc, I should move to a v6 image and standard_ssd drive.

Thank you

Nextcloud windows client - always available offline not working

Hello,

I have my account setup as virtual file but one folder must be always available. I had it setup but since I wanted to make some change on my account (specially the url), I had to remove the account. Because of that, new connection, new folder, new sync.

Now, the app says sync successfully, but nothing is getting downloaded. My PC have a 2.5gb connection and my server 10gb, I know it's not a bottleneck. There's next to no network activity on my pc and on my server. Been waiting over 20 minutes. Everytime I restart the nextcloud app, a new folder have the synced status, but nothing else move. The folder is only 1.8GB.

https://preview.redd.it/trvtaemxsrhh1.png?width=1631&format=png&auto=webp&s=0eb66fd899d07b0264f7bf3bbad2158a4729bcfe

I'm on 34.0.1 client, server on 34.0.2.

Thank you

edit: After restarting the app maybe 7 times, it finally synced everything and show it was syncing file in the nextcloud gui. It reminded me of when I tried to upload all the files the first time to the server and a similar problem happened.

Waste sensor not accurate at all

Hello everyone,

I have a LR4 since...3 or 4 months maybe (I forgot when I bought it) for 3 cats. I have an ongoing trend with the waste sensor telling me it's full while it's not. Not only visually it's not, but just doing a manual cycle change the waste level drastically while nothing have changed. For exemple, here's the data I have from the last day:

https://preview.redd.it/5be1lwh8prhh1.png?width=3769&format=png&auto=webp&s=897248ff599bb63a8fbf2bb694dced2131be1cd1

Each time it's RED, the LR think it's full and stop cycling. Waste level on top is what the app give as waste level. According to that, it triggered at 91, 88 and 82%.

But what's worst is the drop after a manual cycle (blue bar). For instance, the 91 drop to 80, then 88 drop to 70 and now the 82 dropped to 67! Remember that nothing have changed between the full warning and the second reading beside one to three manual cycle. How can the waste be seen as full and then 67% when nothing have moved!

I did the recalibrating step. Everything, even the white sheet of paper with multiple button press (I think I did it 10 times). It is frustrating how inaccurate that sensor is.

Thinking about switching from pfsense to dream or something, what will I lost?

Hello everyone,

I currently have unifi switch and AP that are managed through a unifi controller docker.

My router is an old intel i3-530 with 4gb of ram. Things I do on it:

- Fixed IP by mac for many client

- DHCP v4

- Firewall rules (port forwarding with rules like geo-blocking)

- Geo-blocking with pfblockerng

- Certificate renew with ACME (could probably be done with anything else)

- Tailscale exit node

- DNS Resolver

- WAN use PPOE on fiber with vlan tagging

Geo-Blocking with PFBlockerNG consist in various Alias I created which allow only certain geolocalisation to go through my port forwarding (like only Canada for exemple). I do not use DNSBL. I do have some ip blocklist.

In terms of feature, using a dream machine or whatever are the new "router" of ubiquiti, what features are missing from Ubiquiti that I'm currently using?

Thank you!

2019 premium rear mirror camera (not backup) replacement

Hello everyone,

My rear view mirror camera (not the backup camera, the one that replace the mirror) has stopped working about 3 or 4 years ago on my 2019. Never asked the dealer about it because I only read horror story about that (well I talked about it and it was right away at least 800$ without even investigating).

Some people told me to check the wiring harness that might have disconnect. I've managed to check the one near the camera in the back door and it's fine. I'm unsure if there's other.

From what I read, the camera are very badly made and water get in, which short them. I was wondering if someone know of a replacement camera I can install to have the mirror camera working again. I did very liked the extended view it gave.

Thank you.

Looking for a selfhosted app to gather credit card statements

Hello everyone,

I currently have a credit card account that have multiple credit card. All work great except there's multiple problem on the accounting management. While, as the account owner, I see everyone's transaction, I cannot see a split view per card (even if each transaction show which card did it). And I only see the total of all account balance.

The other account user with their own card can see only their own transaction but no balance! I already reached out to the credit card company and they can't do anything more.

So right now, what I do is I have an excel sheet with a table where each column is a credit card and I enter manually each transaction one by one, including payment, to each owner. All of that is summed and put into a resume where everyone can see the current statement balance for each card owner, and then make payment accordingly.

This is tiresome, and I've tried to look at a self-hosted app (or even not selfhosted) that would do that for me but I haven't found it (like having a webgui that show all of that). I've saw some money management program that will categorize your spending and such but that's not what I want. I simply want a balance calculation for each card based on the transaction that it will fetch directly at my bank (like other money program does)

Does such an app exist?

Thank you

Looking for an app to manage docker based on roles

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for an app that would give an WebGUI where user login and they have access to certain docker on my server with certain feature. For instance, user can see docker a-b-c and start/stop/restart them but doesn't see the others. Does such thing exist?

Currently, I'm using a discord bot but I'd prefer a webgui.

Extra point if there's a way to edit file in those dockers appdata.

Thank you!

Ev 2019 usb port

Hello everyone,

I have a bolt ev 2019 premium and I'm having issue with the 2 USB port in the central console for the android auto. One of the thing is the is keep disconnecting. It seems the connection inside is very flimsy.

But an issue I'm starting to get is while the phone is connected, android auto and music playing and phone saying it's charging, well the phone is actually discharging.

I have tried changing ports, changing phone, changing cable, all have the same issue.

We always leave the USB cable connected in the car specially to not damage the car usb but it seems then even with that, the car usb are getting damage by just vibration.

Does anyone else have this problem and did you find a fix?

I feel all electronics on that car are just garbage. As I have the premium, I also have the mirror camera and it stopped working 4 years ago.

SCCM SQL DB Sizing and files

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if things have changed regarding on how to size SQL Database, number of files to create and such. My SCCM installation is quite old and sometime, we do stuff that aren't needed anymore.

Currently, it's on a Virtual Server that have 8 cpu and 64GB ram. The SCCM Database Files are 8 files of 60GB each with about 50% free space in each, all on the same drive. The log file is on another drive at 50GB (will be raised to a 100gb disk today since it's getting full).I'm pretty sure all drive are linked to the same NAS in the backend.

SQL is set to use about 80% of the ram (around 50gb).

I'm wondering if creating 8 files because of 8 virtual core is still the way to go and if I should downsize my files.

Thank you

ecobee 3 - Standby screen not working

Hello everyone,

I had my ecobee 3 for over 5 years and it's been working as it should. Lately, I found out it no longer turn off the screen when Sleep schedule is running. I've checked the configuration in the ecobee, active screen brightness 10, standby screen 1, checkbox to sleep screen when sleep schedule and auto-standby set to 10 seconds. But when sleep schedule is run, the screen just stay lit. I tried removing the checkbox and setting standby to none, didn't help.

It used to work properly, I don't get why it's doing that now.

From SCCM WSUS to InTune WUfB

Hello everyone,

All device are Hybrid-join only.

I'm currently piloting a migration from SCCM WSUS to InTune WUfB. The question I'm wondering.

Computer today are receiving updates from SCCM through local WSUS. The pilote computer first received configuration from SCCM (client configuration) and GPO to start getting their update from WSUS. This work well.

I then started the co-management process with InTune on those device, set the WSUS workload to InTune for those device and configured policy in InTune. Now I'm wondering, must I remove the GPO for WSUS? I do have dual scan because I still have third party update from SCCM (like Adobe Acrobat).

If I disable the GPO, will it still receive third party update from SCCM? Since the InTune join take time (and also take time before receiving the configuration) after imaging, should I keep the GPO to prevent the computer from getting the update in a bad way (like going directly at MS without having update ring)?

Thank you

LR4 waster seperator

Hello,

I've read somewhere that someone created a 3d printed thing to put inside the waste bin of the lr4 so the waste get more distribute. I was wondering if someone know what it is? I'm tired of seeing full, take the scoop and move 1 or 2 shit and then boom, 50%. This waste tracking is purely shit. And that's with freshly cleaned sensor.

Forever sync with Sonarr

Hello everyone,

Looking at my bazarr instance, it seems that for a long time, it take forever to sync with sonarr. So long that the job queue fills up (job scheduler should check if last job ran before starting a new one). Right now, I had 51 job queued with 4 job running sonarr sync. Radarr sync is instance. I'm unsure what is the problem.

I've enabled debug log but I can't find the problem

Is this really full?

Hello everyone,

I have a LR4 for the past 2 months or so. Today, it told me it was full (not the first time). But looking at the was level, I don't understand how this is full? It seems that it's full only when the first layer of the drawer is full? Seems like a lot of waste space, specially since the bad is not even a quarter full. I tried to reset the unit, remove and reinsert, always tell me it's full.

I changed the bag for a new one, now it tell me it's 12% filled but it's empty...

Uninstall software not used for 6 months or more

Hello everyone,

Management just came down with a task. They want us to uninstall software from computer that haven't been used for more then 6 months. The usage must be on that computer, so it's not a "was the software used in the company in the last 6 months" but "was the software used on that computer in the last 6 months". I tried finding reports that could tell me that, or collection query that I would need to adapt for each software but my findings aren't very good on that.

For now, they want a one shot so I guess getting a report that give me the actual data which can then be analyze and do a static collection for each software would be ok. But I'm pretty sure I'll be asked to have something automated based on the inventory and usage monitoring in the futur.

Does anyone have anything related to this they could share?

I'm not co-managed, so it's 100% SCCM.

Thank you

Edit: we already have software metering enabled. The built-in report doesn't give us what we need. If a computer have 0 usage for a software installed, it won't show in the report.
