I currently have tuxmat for my bolt 2019 and I love them, way more then weathertech. And big points since they are made in Canada in my neighbour province. I was wondering if anyone have any discount code, a referal code or if there's one for returning customer? I just bought a new ioniq 6 and ordering the matx from tuxmat with the trunk one. It's not cheap! I know it's quality, just trying to save where I can.

We have some scenario that require installation of Task Sequence through a USB Key. It's nothing new, it's offline profile that don't have SCCM client and that aren't part of the domain. It always worked no problem, but lately, I'm getting weird behavior.

The Task Sequence would crash randomly on apps and package. When trying to install manually the package, we get access denied error during installation.When looking in the OS Drive, I notice that any file and folder created are REad Only (not NTFS permission but when checking file properties like archive and such). If I do attrib, it has nothing. If I check folder, it's a "-" sign and when I uncheck and save, it get back. The dos command is administrator but I cannot delete files that were created or modify them.

If I use notepad to copy/paste a file or create a new, the new file is read only. Never had that problem before.

Happen with both W10 LTSC 2021 and W11 LTSC 24H2 and it also happen both in WinPE and Full OS.

Because of that, package installation randomly failed with write error.

Ever seen something like it?

Now is the time for Halloween and kids are already asking for them. We normally go at spirit Halloween but it's from USA. Costco don't have what they like (yes still usa but Costco do have a pass). But now, I'm wondering where to go to find a not USA made costume or at least not sold through a USA company?

We all know that sooner or later, our brake will fail from something. We all prefer the later. 2 Years ago, I was forced to change my brakes that didn't even had 30% use but they were rooten through.

I live in Quebec, Canada so we have harsh winter with salt. I try to use the friction brake in neutral about once a week but it's not enough. I've heard people saying they do a brake maintenance when changing tire for the season. The garage I visited told me they do brake prevention once a year for that at 250$ (which for me seems crazy since after 4 years, it's the price of new brake).

So I was wondering if someone have a video of the brake maintenance to do each tire change (bi-annual)?

So what are today's option in terms of phone? I currently have a google Pixel 8. It's working great but the screen is partially dead (dropped a bottle on it which created a big black dot that I lived with for nearly a year, and now it's starting to make horizontal and vertical green and white line).

I normally would go for another Pixel, but 10-11 are crap and with what's going on, let's focus outside USA.

I don't like Samsung phone. I never had one that lasted a year or even 2.

Before my P8 and 6, I had a OnePlus 9 Pro. I did like the phone but it got tired very fast. What I mean by that is if I look at my Pixel 8 right now, it's nearly as good as day 1. Battery life if a bit worst which is normal (over 2 years) but the performance is still good. My OP9pro is just a mess, very slow, laggy and even with custom rom never got very far.

I do not play on my phone, I do have lot's of apps though, many for works. I do take photo and video with it (like everyone?).

What I did like about Pixel is the fact I still have updates and upgrade on my Pixel 8 to this day, and I get them fast. I remember with my Samsungs waiting multiple month after release of new OS, sometime nearly a year.

Long term support is a must. I don't change my phone just because. I would probably keep my Pixel 8 if the screen was in better shape (cost over 350$ to change, and a new battery would be good too).

So, what would be options today outside of whatever is available at Best Buy, Rogers and Telus?

I'm trying to get my head around the configuration for DNS DoH and DoT. My network is a pfsense router with 2 piholes. Both piholes have pfsense has upstream server and all my client use piholes.

I want to use CIRA as upstream DNS server. So in PFsense, I entered all the information and configuration the DNS to be always local, ignore remote:

Then, in my DNS Resolver, I have Respond to SSL/TLS Query enabled

In PFsense doc, they says to disable DNSSEC and enable Forwarding Mode for DoH (or DoT I forgot). This is where I get lost.

The information under Forwarding mode says that if it is enabled, it will forward the query to upstream DNS. OK, but what happen if it's not checked? If it's not check, it doesn't forward? So unknown DNS entry aren't forwarded to upstream DNS, is that what it mean?

I have many CName and alias configured so those need to keep working. But I don't get the forwarding feature. What does it do when on and off? Why is it required for either DoH or DoT?

I'm currently doing a migration from SCCM WSUS with computer hybrid-join but not co-managed to InTune Autopatch with computer co-manage.

Currently in SCCM, we Update Windows, Office, Other MS Product and Third Party Update (Acrobat).

So far what I've done.

Create a Co-Manage pilot collection in SCCM, move the workload to "intune pilot" for Windows Update and Device Configuration and assign that collection.

Create a new Client Device Configuration in SCCM saying to not manage Office 365 (to remove OfficeCom to enable update from InTune) and deploy to that collection. Kept "Enable Update" since I still have third party.

Remove all WU GPO targeting computer in that collection and ran a reset sccm policy on those computer (since I have the bug about policy stuck when upgrading from a specific version to another one).

Creates a GPO to revert Office 365 Windows Update Management (there's 3 way to set manage O365 update, the third one is during the installation and we set all 3! so I have to revert everywhere beside during installation (which I already configured properly the package for futur installation). The InTune M365 Policy created by AutoPatch also set that value so I might not set it in the futur through GPO.

In InTune, I created an Autopatch configuration for Quality Update, Driver Update, Edge and Office 365.

Now on my computer, the registry look like this:

Which is good, the cleanup from reset policy worked.

In the computer, under settings -> Windows Update -> Advanced -> Configuration, I see all the intune policy (sorry in french)

In Ordre, Manage Feature Update, Manage Quality Update, Manage Driver Update, Enable HotPatch, Configure Auto-Update (Download and install automatically)

In Order, Quality Update Deferral, Preview and feature update deferral (don't see where this is configured in the Intune Policy), Deadline and Grace period

My computer did receive the update properly and is working.

But when I go into intune, under device -> Windows -> Windows Update -> Autopatch Management Status, it says that my computer only get driver update, hotpatch is not enabled (while I did had a hotpatch installed) and it says there's conflict in configuration:

Now, this error start with the last one. Because I have UpdateServiceUrlAlternate configured from SCCM Client for Third Party Update, it throw those error. What it says to do in the other 4 is to set SetPolicyDrivenUpdateSourceForUpdateType to 0 in MDM. So I created this configuration in intune and deployed it to my co-managed device

I don't see in the registry the key that this GPO (if set in GPO) create, as seen in first registry screenshot, and I still have the conflict warning.

What am I missing to remove those warning (beside stopping third party patching)? Is it a known bug and I ignore those warning?

Me again with my silly questions. I googled about the DC Charging speed and it seems the P4 is rated for 200KW. But looking at the reddit and other post, it seems most people get 50kwh, maybe 75KW, specially under 10C. I already have a Bolt that take forever to charge at 35-40kwh, one of my goal with a new car is to go in that 20-30 charge rate for when I need it (like when I commute for holidays and such).

Were the issue fixed with the slow charging speed and forever precondition that I found online? What are you experience with charging the P4?

Edit: thinking about my post, I found out I didn't ask the right question. What I should ask is what are your experience on DC charging time? Is it really at 45-50min 10-80%? When I do long trip, I try to charge between 10 to 20% and charge to 80%. I'm trying to cut down that time. Experience in summer and winter

So, I know the Polestar 4, as an Android Car, doesn't have Android Auto but only Apple Carplay (wtf). I also know that we don't have an android app for the car (unless I'm wrong) so no control of the car remotly.

Now, beside that and the obvious of not sharing my android screen on the car itself, is there feature that I can still use with my phone? Can it still bluetooth pair for music and call? Can I still plug it so it'S usb passthrough?

What feature are possible and not possible with an android phone on that car?

I'm wondering if polestar 2 have a feature like I have on my bolt. The rear view mirror have a toggle where it switch to a wide angle camera display. I only tried a pilot version and since all automaker give this feature a different name, I'm unsure if any polestar have that.

I have my account setup as virtual file but one folder must be always available. I had it setup but since I wanted to make some change on my account (specially the url), I had to remove the account. Because of that, new connection, new folder, new sync.

Now, the app says sync successfully, but nothing is getting downloaded. My PC have a 2.5gb connection and my server 10gb, I know it's not a bottleneck. There's next to no network activity on my pc and on my server. Been waiting over 20 minutes. Everytime I restart the nextcloud app, a new folder have the synced status, but nothing else move. The folder is only 1.8GB.

edit: After restarting the app maybe 7 times, it finally synced everything and show it was syncing file in the nextcloud gui. It reminded me of when I tried to upload all the files the first time to the server and a similar problem happened.

I have a LR4 since...3 or 4 months maybe (I forgot when I bought it) for 3 cats. I have an ongoing trend with the waste sensor telling me it's full while it's not. Not only visually it's not, but just doing a manual cycle change the waste level drastically while nothing have changed. For exemple, here's the data I have from the last day:

Each time it's RED, the LR think it's full and stop cycling. Waste level on top is what the app give as waste level. According to that, it triggered at 91, 88 and 82%.

But what's worst is the drop after a manual cycle (blue bar). For instance, the 91 drop to 80, then 88 drop to 70 and now the 82 dropped to 67! Remember that nothing have changed between the full warning and the second reading beside one to three manual cycle. How can the waste be seen as full and then 67% when nothing have moved!

I did the recalibrating step. Everything, even the white sheet of paper with multiple button press (I think I did it 10 times). It is frustrating how inaccurate that sensor is.

I currently have unifi switch and AP that are managed through a unifi controller docker.

My router is an old intel i3-530 with 4gb of ram. Things I do on it:

- Fixed IP by mac for many client

- DHCP v4

- Firewall rules (port forwarding with rules like geo-blocking)

- Geo-blocking with pfblockerng

- Certificate renew with ACME (could probably be done with anything else)

- Tailscale exit node

- DNS Resolver

- WAN use PPOE on fiber with vlan tagging

Geo-Blocking with PFBlockerNG consist in various Alias I created which allow only certain geolocalisation to go through my port forwarding (like only Canada for exemple). I do not use DNSBL. I do have some ip blocklist.

In terms of feature, using a dream machine or whatever are the new "router" of ubiquiti, what features are missing from Ubiquiti that I'm currently using?

My rear view mirror camera (not the backup camera, the one that replace the mirror) has stopped working about 3 or 4 years ago on my 2019. Never asked the dealer about it because I only read horror story about that (well I talked about it and it was right away at least 800$ without even investigating).

Some people told me to check the wiring harness that might have disconnect. I've managed to check the one near the camera in the back door and it's fine. I'm unsure if there's other.

From what I read, the camera are very badly made and water get in, which short them. I was wondering if someone know of a replacement camera I can install to have the mirror camera working again. I did very liked the extended view it gave.
