2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland — AC Compressor Not Engaging

I’m looking for some advice on the A/C system in my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland.

The A/C was working perfectly before we left the Jeep in an airport parking lot for about a week. When we came back and drove it, the A/C was blowing warm air. I checked under the hood and noticed that the A/C compressor isn’t spinning/engaging when the A/C is turned on.

I have:

- replaced 10 amp fuse for ac Compressor clutch

- bought a can of refrigerant, however, the gauge seemed to act strangely—it appeared to be spun all the way around, and when I pulled the trigger, nothing seemed to happen. We weren’t sure if the gauge/tool was defective or if we were doing something wrong, so we returned it.

- took it to the dealer for an A/C inspection. They quoted us around $2,800 to replace the compressor and some other components. I’ll attach a picture of their quote.

What I’m trying to figure out is whether the compressor actually needs to be replaced or if there’s something else that could be preventing it from engaging, such as a refrigerant pressure issue, electrical problem, relay/fuse issue, wiring, sensor, etc.

It seems strange that the A/C worked perfectly before sitting in the airport parking lot for a week and then suddenly stopped working.

What would you guys check/diagnose before spending $2,800 on repairs on a 3 year old vehicle?

Attached is the ac check I paid for and the quote they gave me.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Should I take AP Chem

I am a 4.1 gpa student going into junior year. I have taken physical science and biology so far. I play soccer in the fall and golf in the spring. Is AP Chem a bad idea if I haven’t taken chemistry yet? Is physics a better choice? Post hs plan to go to 4 year to start with. Engineering/STEM/Business

Help me make my room more cozy/complete

Help me redesign my bedroom to feel cozy, aesthetic, and maximize the space (photos + 3D model + inspiration)

I’m looking for ideas to completely rethink my bedroom layout and design. My main goals are to make it feel cozy, inviting, functional, and visually clean, while making the best use of the space I have.

I’ve attached:
Photos of my current room
A 3D model with dimensions
Inspiration photos that match the vibe I’m going for

A few things to know:
Current bed: King size (it’s actually two twin mattresses together). I’m open to downsizing to a queen if it would make the room feel significantly larger or improve the layout.

Desk setup: I need a desk for my computer and would like it to be a nice-looking workspace.

TV: I’d like to keep a TV in the room. Could wall mount it.

Camera display: I collect cameras and would love to create a display wall with floating shelves or something similar to showcase them.

Collage wall: I’m thinking about doing a collage/photo wall on the small wall opposite the window with photos, prints, and other miscellaneous items.

Flooring: One downside is that the room has tan/brown carpet. Replacing it isn’t really an option right now, so I’d love ideas that work with it rather than against it.

The overall aesthetic I’m aiming for is warm, cozy, modern, and a little minimalist—not completely empty, but intentionally decorated. I really like spaces with layered lighting, natural wood tones, plants, framed artwork, textured bedding, and subtle ambient lighting.

I’m open to:
Rearranging all of the furniture
Buying some new furniture if it’s worth it
Downsizing to a queen bed
Adding shelves, wall décor, lighting, rugs, etc.
I’d especially appreciate:
Suggested room layouts
Furniture placement ideas
Color palette recommendations
Storage ideas that don’t make the room feel cramped
Lighting recommendations

Any ideas to make the room feel larger without sacrificing comfort
Feel free to sketch on the floor plan or annotate the photos if that’s easier. I’d love to see any ideas you have! Thank you
