I understand the agent process and the value of looking at reviews and return orders of the sellers, but are there other hints on deciphering the best choices for a given item?

For example if I image search on TB there could be a bag that is $73, $50, &33, all the way to $7. If I choose the highest price one does that mean it’s the best quality or not necessarily?

If I choose one and thenI see the photos at the warehouse do I have to keep it if the quality looks bad?

I am looking for a Tumi bag for my husband too and all of the photos seem pretty much the same which makes me wonder if there is only one factory that makes them.

I appreciate the help as this is a lot to navigate.

My husband would like a replacement Tumi bag and I can only really find one rep that has them - Secret House. Any other ideas or experiences?

This is my second purchase with Ellis and the first bag was the small version of this which I loved but realized immediately was too small for my frame. Since that bag was so gorgeous I immediately ordered this larger size in the same color from the same factory with Ellis. For both I used Blackframe.

Ellis is wonderful to work with, responded quickly, and made sure my bag was great. For comparison I ordered a LV bag from Blackframe and the leather is not nearly as nice. This bag has good weight and structure and is so classy.

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary in Bora Bora. We went 10 years ago and one of the things I swore I would do the next time is plan my wardrobe better. :)

I would like a casual beach bag that holds a few things (not towels) and still looks chic.

Then I would like a simple dinner bag that is still "beachy" but a little more upscale.

I am not a fashionista so nothing too over the top but I still want to look like I tried.

A little background - I am the daughter of an immigrant born in a German refugee camp during WWII. My family fled Latvia on a few hours notice leaving behind almost all possessions and then coming to the U.S. with nothing.

My Grandmother often told me to make sure I always had gold jewelry and gold coins to prepare for the worst when paper currency means nothing. There were cases in their 5 years at the camp that they only had food because they could go to nearby towns and trade gold for food.

So this is my family story and it does frame how I think about things. I have gold and silver but I am not sure how to balance this because obviously having 1 ounces of gold in a coin or bar is way too much if things really got ugly as far as bartering goes. Silver is also heavy even though easier for smaller amounts of trading. I wondered if anyone else has thought about this and has a strategy?

I am new to all of this. I want to get a decent rep. Any ideas? I will then move on to huge quality but wanted to test it this way to see if I even like wearing a watch consistently.

I want to give my kids a coin - possibly an eagle - but anything else I should consider as a keepsake and hopefully get them excited to also buy silver?

Are you balky with your ring setting from starsgem? They coming back about $200-300 cheaper than Tianyu and Moissy. Has it held up and don’t feel like it is good quality? Thanks!

I purchased a ring on AE from Anu Jewel and they have now twice sent me fraudulent return shipping labels, even after I contacted them with proof and allowed them to make it right. My only option now is to dispute it with AmEx as the post office said even if I paid to return ship it myself they will likely claim they never received it. I hope this trend doesn't continue with AE sellers. Super disappointing.

I just went to the USPS and they told me the shipping label provided by AnuJewel for my return is fraudulent. She also said the 4 people in front of me had the same issues with Amazon sellers. What the?
