I built something to solve my own problem, now it prints me money.

In 2023 I started a AI agency, I used get all my clients via blogs / content.

It went great but suddenly I saw a shift in how people consumed content + blogging was becoming saturated with AI.

I need to convert my content into videos to reach more people, with only 1 problem a single professionally made video costs $300-$500, I had over 50 blogs.

All AI generated videos used AI diffusion models which costs $3/min too expensive + output was heavily sloppy did not suit my knowledge dense content

So I built my own solution using programmatic video + AI voice.

Link: https://blog2video.app

It has generated $6K in automatic sales + 50+ paid users already, it is growing very fast & is expected to scale to $10K by next month.

Do give it a try the first video is free.

Why converting your substack into videos is important

We asked 200 Substack writers using Blog2Video[.]app for a survey about adding videos into their substack

They saw 70% increase in new subscribers. Meaning a substack getting 100 subs/week will get 170 using video

Total audience went up about 4x for writers who put the video on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Open rate improved by about 20%, likely because readers recognize your face or voice from another platform before the email lands.

Nothing about the writing changed. The funnel just got a wider mouth.

That's the whole result: same content, new formats, distribution doing the work.

Built a tool to save my agency $30K in marketing costs, made an additional $7K in revenue

Here is the story, I am an agency owner who used to get clients via his technical blogs but over the years blogs were not scaling, every one had shifted to videos.

So I asked a video editor how much it would cost to translate my blogs into videos, they said $300-$500 per video.

I couldn't afford that much, then I looked at existing AI video providers, they used AI video models which are $3/m or $180/hr of video + they don't translate my technical content into a good explainer video.

So I built Blog2Video - so far it has generated over $7K in additional revenue almost all on autopilot.

- It uses remotion for the video

- It takes 3 min from link/upload->video

- It has eleven labs voiceover + stock footage + AI image

- It uses configurable human templates to base the video on.

Has a generous free tier, only costs $0.6 per video much more affordable than AI video models or video editors
