Grandson on his iPad constantly.

He is 7 years old and really has an issue with how much he watches, and what he watches.

Last night I had to speak firmly, pull and pry his fingers off of it. I'm the grandma, and I was watching (babysitting) him and his sister.

This is getting ridiculous, and not how I want our relationship to be.

My grandaughter is 10 and will put hers down and away if asked.

Neither of them read any books. Nobody had any school work to do. Just iPads.

My daughter gets offended if I bring it up. It's like she doesn't want to say no to him, not sure why..

Any suggestions?

Propranolol for doing the treadmill?

I just got a walking treadmill for my birthday.

I have bad anxiety when it comes to walking on it. Is it safe to take 10 mg of Propranolol prior to getting on? My speed is slow (one mph for 15 minutes)

Will it affect my heart in a negative way? I've had cardiac ablation in the past, I think this is what's causing my anxiety.

I'd rather take Propranolol, than my Ativan for "excercise anxiety".

Face mask for $1.25. Helpful for morning puffiness.

Mine is currently de-feezing, so it'll be cold and not frozen solid.

Taking only Buspar for anxiety?

Tomorrow will start my 3rd week on Buspar. (2.5 mg x 2 daily). I can see myself going up to 5 mg x 2, maybe in a month or two.

I'm also on 10 mg of Celexa. Can a person only take Buspar and not an AD? Or since "it ain't broke, don't fix it" meaning leave the Celexa in, and concentrate on the Buspar.

Turned in my machine to the DME I had originally.

(Resmed Airsense11)

I asked them what they do with the machines that get turned back in. The gal at the front didn't know.

What do they do with them?

I was hoping she'd ask me, would you like to buy it? And I would have, for the right price.

Where is a good place to buy a reconditioned machine?

My love story with my CPAP (technically an APAP)

The day I had to meet w/an RT, I cried. I had to take a small amount of benzo to get me through the appt. I barely listened to her, felt like life was over.

I cried when I got home. The whole thing, mask, frame, machine itself, filter, was just too much!!! My husband was extremely patient with me. 🥰

Long story short; I did not use it the first night. Used it during days, to get to my 4 hour compliancy.

Almost a year later, I LOVE IT!! I can't imagine my life without it. It has been a game changer for my anxiety, better than any medication.

The end ~

Gomer Pyle joins the Marines.

I never really liked Gomer, but I've softened toward him as of late.

I got a kick out of this episode with Frank Sutton as the 'sarge'. Was this epidode made, with the series in mind, that would eventually follow; Gomer Pyle USMC?

Dosage - the smaller the dose, the more it knocks me out!

I was prescribed 7.5 mg once, at night.

I ended up cutting it into half (3.75 mg) because I get very nervous with new meds. I slept like I hadn't slept in 10 years. So out of curiosity, I tried the 7.5 mg, and slept OK.

But that small dose really knocks me out! Could anyone explain why..

How do you differentiate OCD and ADD? Anxiety /Depression?

I'm on a SSRI anti-depressant (20 mg).

Yet I was put on it for anxiety and depression. Yet I can't stop thinking. I feel like I haven't been diagnosed properly.

Anxiety? Yes. Depression? No.

ADD? I'm not sure. OCD? Also I'm not sure.

Who can diagnose me properly? I need to stop thinking..and relax. Read a book, for example.

Do you want to say "hi" (as they spin the wheel)?

Stop this already. Most of the time, the contestants are rushing through all the names, and then get high pitched at the end. I don't know if the person even knows that their name was said..ha!!

Remember the lady that had 9 kids? I think the wheel stopped spinning by child #5.

Well, this sucks!!! A rock came flying up off the street and hit my windshield.

At least I think it came up off the street. It was from a big truck.

Is this correct? Could a rock jump from the street, to the windshield? And do this kind of damage??

It's going to be $900, to replace w/Genesis glass. 😭

Morning anxiety when first waking up..

Does this happen to anyone else?

I lay in bed, and try to think positive thoughts. Then I get up and open the blinds for morning sun.

What causes this sense of dread and anxiousness? (I did recently increase my anti-depressant from 10 to 20 mg this past Friday)

What are other ideas I can try?

12L/min is my leak level. Help.

I was on the F30i which felt like I was in a wind tunnel w/air blowing up into my face. 10-12L/min.

So I switched to the F30 with the memory foam. Very comfortable, not feeling leaks when I fall asleep and wake up. Still 12L/min!!!! 🥺

What do I need to do to bring that down? Resmed Airsense11

Thanks.

(I have an F40 stored away, and a nasal one, that I didn't care for)
