My mom has COPD and is weak and was living in my home for two years . Issue was I live in duplex and she was in my living room with potty chair as soon as you walk in. My adolescent son was having issues with it as he couldn’t have friends over . If I had more room . I would have kept her here . Honestly she wasn’t getting care she needed . She likely needed to get to more doctors appointments etc that I couldn’t handle being a single parent.

She isn’t that far away but this weekend been really missing her to point of tears . Not sure how to get over this :-(

My greet uncle , Steve Ysjko , saved two African American youths from drowning in the 1950s. He ended up losing his life in process . Allegedly, according to family , Joe Louis held a chsrity fight to raise money for the family. I am 99% sure this is true because multiple family members have confirmed this.. The only thing I can find in google is that he was honored by Elks club but no sources . Any assistance in finding actual article or sources is appreciated .

Suddenly my CPU usage will spike to literally 100%. Nothing running in background. Good thing I have a flux pro case with a decent cooler so doesn’t go above 70c but get feame drops which js annoying . Any fixes ?

Old hardwood floors finally seeing light of day after getting new furniture and removing large area rugs . There are some darker spots areas which likely have been there since I moved in since that floor hasn’t seen light of day in 6 years

I called local rental places and none of them in a 30 mile area have buffer machine which I think is crazy but it is what it is . I do have an electric drill . Could I use some attachment with that ? I know woild take longer but only certain small areas need done

Small town outside Pittsburgh. Just saw an orange orb fly overhead and disappear over a small ridge . Definitely not a shooting star . I have seen those and if it had been at that altitude .. it wouldn’t have disappeared over the ridge . Orangish in color . Definitely not a plane or helicopter . Way too fast for that . It sss like f22 fast and no sound at all and no military bases anywhere near me , Alsi firying in straight line . Didn’t seem out of control etc . Not sure what I saw but definitely strange . It was going so fast I didn’t even have a chance to activate camera app in on phone .. also definitely not a drone . I am a drone pilot

Edit. It was also flying lower than the clouds . Totally cloudy overhead so don’t think it could be any kind of star or satellite

New -only 3 months old .. no issues ..
just after latest update .. when I put drone into cruise control. It only went in straight line . For some reason I couldn’t turn left or right ? For a second I was in a panic .. thinking I had a flyaway drone .. disabled it and got control again .

Cloning my nvme and switching it out . What bios serious should I use when cloning ? Windows UEFI or other OS to make sure I gat a clean boot ?or does it matter if I don’t have bitlocker enabled ?

So pumped I want one .

Really weird behavior. Never have craves during stress tests or shader caches in BF6, Forzs or Flight Simukstor or Siege

It literally reboots the PC. I don’t even have it overlocked other than memory set to docp 1

I never used event viewer before .

Do I look at Applicaion or System ? And what do I look for ? Is my cpu defective ?
I don’t get crashes during stress tests like cinebench or proms 95.

I just never had weird behavior like this so not sure what to do to narrow it down

Been happening for a while now .
When I say low .i mean really low like 160-180 fod at 1080p . That shouldn’t be happening with specs like this . Makes game literally unplayable.

Issue is individual component benchmarks show no issues . Cinebench GPU is 108000. CPU multicore id 5600
CPU doesn’t break 68 C in gaming or cinebench . Windows memory test ran fine

Only thing that is “really old “ on system is nvme but crystal disk says health at 97%

I am just not sure where the hang up could be . I am not new to PC building and never had an issue I couldn’t diagnose .

Could it be the ssd despite showing healthy ?

Not sure if that number is accurate but has been in use since Feb 2022. May be causing performance issues in some games . Is there a point where it needs replaced ? It’s has been in heavy use since then with my son and I. It’s a 2 tb western digital . If that number on hard dos sentinel is incorrect. Any other tests ? I have a new WD 2tb black but just been too busy to replace it

This is related to a personal situation I have regarding my mother . She has COPD and possibly has some type of dementia. She lost her house due to back races and is currently staying with me on the couch . She is on 100% oxygen 24/7.

I am torn about possibly putting her in a nursing home . I know she doesn’t want to go there and those places are depressing . I am not sure how many years she has left but I want her to be happy . On the other hand , I know that I cannot properly take care of her .. I am sure her medical issues aren’t getting better . I can’t really take her to appointments.. Conplucating matters is I am a single father of a 13 year old boy that’s getting tired of grandma on couch with a potty chair since she can’t do stairs .

I am worried if she doesn’t get to nursing home , something bad will happen to her . :-(
