i can’t put it in a box, i can’t leave it on the counter near all the gluten dishes (shared space with housemates) and i don’t know what to do.

i’ve just had my first few days on mounjaro 2.4mg. i feel like my old self again. i got diagnosed with an autoimmune condition (coeliac disease) and it completely changed my life by making me maintain a STRICT gluten free diet (cross contamination is a big issue).

everyone thinks gluten free = healthier. i think that’s wrong. i think this idea is skewed towards people who go gluten free for because it appears healthier. gluten free food isn’t always healthier, and often the alternatives have filler ingredients that’s proven by studies to be less satisfying than their regular counterparts.

food wasn’t enjoyable after my diagnosis. i would eat before going out and then if i could find something out then i would eat that too. my food was never satisfying and i have been binging. i put on 15-20kgs in a YEAR.

i truly feel like i did before my diagnosis. food doesn’t feel trapping to me, i can look at plates and feel like i don’t have to finish it because it was expensive (GF tax) or because it was made special for me given my restrictive diet. i don’t have an urge to binge at night because i didn’t FEEL like i restricted myself all day.

i know it’s only early days. it’s amazing when a medication works immediately though. i won’t start to see the weight come off for a while and i’m very okay with that because i just feel so good and i know the rest will come. the internet has been overwhelmingly helpful - tiktok video for an “inject with me” to overcome first time jitters, meal plans for injection day to limit side effects, overall encouragement - but i haven’t seen much about pairing it with coeliac disease.

my data has just been deleted from MEGA. i have had a free account with them for 10 years and uploaded countless memories and important files. i have had an inactive account for a few months now, trusting that my storage cloud account is being stored.

twice i got an email that said mega “misses” me. not that my account is at risk of data loss. this doesn’t feel like an appropriate notice prior to data deletion.

i upgraded to pro since they said i may be able to recover some files. nothing important was recovered and im devastated. i also wasted my money upgrading.

i know there isn’t anything that can be done about the data loss. i have tried contacting mega about a formal complaint so its clearer that data is at stake with these “notice” emails. they closed my ticket very fast or simply didn’t respond even though im now a paying customer. what can i do? they also kept saying that the t&c’s were like this when i signed up, which im not denying, but i feel is unlikely given its been a decade, but they aren’t supplying what they were when i signed up. how can i navigate this? i just want to see and confirm

i’m not looking for comments to tell me i should’ve known better. life gets in the way and the storage service i use should have told me if my data was at risk of being deleted. if they had said in the email that inactive accounts are wiped, or that i needed to upgrade to keep my data when i am inactive, then guess what: i would have done so. i don’t need to be told this.

for a very long time i worked at a dr martens store. i can spot fake dr martens very easily. i report at least 1 listing a day and let the seller know why they’re fake in case they are genuinely unaware. i remind them their wording must be clear it’s not a genuine product but they can say “dr martens style shoe” if they want it to be less obvious

i have never seen a listing get removed. do they ever?? what does depop do when they get these reports? it’s quite literally illegal.

i am mostly concerned about the flight there and back, and little nibbly snacks along the way. what are your recommendations for what i should bring for plane and daily adventures? i have a plethora of muesli bars but thats it. i’ll be going for a week. thanks!

hi all. last night i backed up my 128gb iPhone 13. i updated to the newest ios after. it said i didn’t have enough storage and reset my phone. i now cannot put my most recent backup onto my phone because of a lack of storage.

my only 2 solutions i can see are to get a new phone with more storage and restore it with my information or to use another phone with more storage and restore that, delete lots of things, back that up, then restore my current one. but i don’t have access to another phone with more storage like that and every store i call says they can’t facilitate that.

will apple help? what can i do?

i don’t need a lecture on how i should have had more free storage when updating and backing up. it’s a lesson learned. i do feel like if i don’t have enough storage to update/back up then it should tell me BEFOREHAND though. but please be nice to me
