Song predictions for this year?

Posted this the last couple years so doing it again now the full cast is announced, what’s your song predictions for this season?

Can be songs that have been a hit this year - Olivia Dean & Sam Fender are a shoo in, probably something from Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, and Madonna’s recent new albums. And I think Joy by Raye would be fabulous for a dance.
Taylor Swift’s I Knew It I Knew you for a Toy Story themed movie week dance. Not sure what song but maybe a Spider-Man dance since the new movie just came out this summer too?

But also songs related to the contestants that we often see in week one. Such as the dog trainer getting Who Let The Dogs Out. Or Melanie dancing to Stacy’s Mom since she plays Stacey’s mum in Gavin & Stacey. Will Best with Simply The Best?

new girl group TUIDE have released their first song GRLS!

their first EP is released on 24th Aug, but here is the first song as an introduction to them! I love the bass and the switching between “me and my girls” and “meet my girls”. and the way they are all dressed the same but giving their own style to shine. great song and video, I’m excited for their debut!

If you’re a regular here you may be aware we have launched our own YouTube channel, where we are making different themed playlists!
Well today we are recruiting your help…

Summer isn’t over yet - We want the community’s input on the most summery pop girl songs for our summer vibes playlist!

You can take the summer suggestion very literally for songs like Hot Girl Summer, Summer Girl, etc. Or just songs that have a summery fresh vibe like Espresso, Put Your Records On, Umbrella, etc. (click the link for the playlist and you’ll see a few songs I’ve added as an example)

Basically any songs that fit the summer vibes, more upbeat for a pool party or more relaxed for chilling out at the beach in the summer sun!

Usual PPG rules apply, if it’s a woman singing, and pop, or at least pop adjacent (so can be more hip hop or electronic or R&B or pop-rock etc too, pop can be defined pretty broadly) it fits! And be from any year, old or new!
