I have 3 eyelash curlers from judydoll, nichido, maybelline and this is my latest purchase from Shiseido.

Legit nga yung hype. It does curl well and fit sya for asian eyes kaya pati yung mga nasa kabilaang gilid na pilik na di abot ng curlers e naiisama nya.

Picture taken 4 hrs after doing the curl. Di na ako nag re curl ng eyelashes after applying mascara which i usually do.

​Hey guys! Just wanted to do a quick appreciation post/aura farm because this community has genuinely taught me so much. I recently took a huge risk and completely changed up my look, so I wanted to share what worked for me!

​1. The Hair: Never DIY a Major Chop

​I have always been a long-haired girl my entire life—it’s actually a part of our family tradition! I was originally planning to cut it myself, but I hesitated because I knew if I messed it up, it would get way worse. Rule #1: Always go to a professional unless you are a pro yourself.

​I ended up walking into a random salon that didn't even have reviews or recommendations on Reddit. I just risked it. It's the first time I've ever had my hair this super short, and honestly? I’m feeling so cool about it. How did the stylist do?

​2. The Makeup: Local Products & Finding Your Vibe

​There are so many different types of makeup, and you really just have to follow the specific vibe you're looking for.

​The Reference: For this look, I actually followed a reference that a fellow Redditor commented on one of my posts (shoutout to you!).

​The Lips: I used to browse around asking if red suits me, but I realized I wanted a much younger-looking vibe. I don't know much about tones, but I decided to go slightly less red and more pinkish this time.

​No Foundation: I never use foundation because I'm lucky enough to not need it—no acne pit marks here. I actually used to have a ton of acne as a teenager up until I was 22, but it cleared up over time when I overhauled my lifestyle. I started drinking way more water, eating healthy, and completely stopped drinking alcohol (which also helped me lose weight!).

​Local > High-End: Every single product I use is local. I can't afford high-end makeup, and honestly, local products function exactly the same. As long as I use it all up and don't waste a single drop, it's worth it.

​3. Underarms: Genetics vs. Maintenance (The Glycolic Acid Warning)

​I want to be 100% transparent: a massive part of my underarms is just blessed genetics. They've been good since I was young. But for anyone struggling with dark underarms, glycolic acid is the holy grail.

​Huge disclaimer though: Glycolic acid can be incredibly harsh on the skin. Please do not do trial-and-error on your underarms. It can seriously hurt you and cause long-term skin damage. Please consult your derma first and get a proper routine/prescription!

​For me, glycolic acid is just maintenance. I actually started using it as a substitute deodorant at one point in my life when I just didn't want to buy regular deo and decided to use whatever was left on my beauty table instead.
