They are a violet ground beetle that I found under a log :) carabus problematicus

I found it in a stream in Leicestershire well known for its pottery, it has a 5 on the bottom. I think it's really pretty and I'd like to know where it's from :D

I love pigeons so much and I recently developed this new art style drawing them :D

Hello, plant people! I'd like to know what's up with one of my favourite plants :)

Light: on a windowsill with bright light, no sun

Water: I water thoroughly when the soil is dry. Pot has drainage

How long: I've had it for about a year and a half

Soil: I'm fairly sure it's house plant soil and orchid bark

The problem has been around for maybe a month?

Ignore the stains on my head lol, I did this myself with crazy colour dye :) I purposefully made it sort of boho(?) colours because I didn't want it to be really vibrant or bright

This is my crested gecko Fig's bioactive enclosure, I did not make it (if I did it wouldn't look half as good as this lol) but someone in my local reptile shop pre-made it and it's so beautiful I had to share. I've seen the springtails but I haven't spotted any isopods, but I'm sure there are some somewhere! I mist 2x a day and water occasionally, and for those who are wondering I use the 'Arcadia lumenize' and it does seem to be helping the plants to grow. Bonus photo of fig at the end! :)

Hello! Today I picked up my first crestie, he's about six months old and really docile already. My local reptile shop had this terrarium already set up to buy, and it's SO beautiful But I can't decide between the names Coco and Fig. :/

Poor fish :(

Sunday night, magpies attacked the pigeon nest in our garden, we thought they ate the contents of the two eggs, but I found one floating in the pond below the nest. It has a small crack on the edge and some yellow contents came out on the tissue. It smells a bit if your face is close. Is the embryo long dead? What should I do with the egg? Is it worth searching for the other egg incase it's unbroken and I can save it?
