How’s everyone celebrating the 4th?

I just moved to Beaverton (from out of state) a couple months ago and it’ll be my first time celebrating the 4th of July here.

I’m my hometown I’d usually head to the beach, have a few drinks, play some beach volleyball, and watch the city fireworks show.

How does everyone celebrate up here? And suggestions of places to go?
Also, where’s the best place to catch the fireworks.

Thanks in advance for the tips!

Which game mode do play in the Rumikub App? And do you think most opponents are bots?

I’m curious which mode of gameplay (tournament, practice, regular game) you guys are playing via the Rumikub phone app?

And do you think the opponents are real people or just bots? (Except for Practice Mode, they are obviously all bots).

I play the Rumikub app on iPhone everyday.
I usually play the tournaments because I feel they are a better use of my coins (less chances of winning coins, but I get to play at least 5 games for only 500 coins).

I also think most of the “opponents” are actually bots. I rarely think I’m playing against an actual person lol.

EDIT: thanks for all the responses! I hadn’t tried the “custom game” before, but I’m actually going to try it based on everyone’s responses

Anyone here actually a Stew on a charter yacht? How accurate is the depiction on BD?

I’ve recently gotten into BD (already did a full watch of BDM and BDDU, currently watching the original BD season 4).

Anyway, I am SUPER curious about how much of the show is an accurate depiction of being a Stew/Deckhand on a charter yacht.

Is there anyone here who has actually been a Charter Stew or Deckhand for a M/Y or S/Y?

EDIT: thank you for all the responses!! A few lingering question if anyone is willing to spill more details:
- Drugs. Obviously they’re technically banned, but does it still happen often (crew and guests)??
- is everyone actually booking up with eachother?
- what’s the typical time between charters?
- what’s the relationship with the captain actually like?

Thank youuuuuu

Jezabob

Thoughts on Jezabob? Lol

I’m watching the Below Deck Med seasons in a really weird order. Almost reverse order.

I love that Joao named his alter ego Jezabob pahahahahaha

Do you guys think Jezabob is really _that_ bad?

EDIT: Spelling

Getting a treatment during med spa event. Do I tip?

I am going to an event at a local med spa this evening. I will be getting a an “express” hydrafacial (it has a discounted price).
Do I tip for this treatment during the event?

More background:
I just to the US from Western Europe. Tipping is not customary at all in my previous country (Netherlands).
I’ve also never attended an event at a med spa.
I’m really lost on whether I’m supposed to tip for facials in the US (in general) _and_ particularly whether I’m supposed to tip for an “express” service during a promotional event?

I want to respect the employees and I would like to come back to this med spa I’m the future (assuming the service is good!). So wondering what the right thing to do is, and how much do I tip?
Thank you!

TLDR; attending event at med spa for first time and getting a facial. Do I tip?

Has anyone gone to the Valet Living virtual ‘Happy Hour’ events?

I live in an apartment complex that requires paying for Valet trash pick up. The other day I noticed that the trash bins have a QR code to download their app. I downloaded it (honestly I downloaded it for a laugh, because I thought it was ridiculous that they have an app lol). Anyway, I saw that it has an option to join virtual happy hour and yoga events in the app.

I’m just wondering if anyone has actually ever joined these events?

The virtual happy hour description says that you learn how to make margaritas and appetizers or something like that. I haven’t joined so I don’t know if it’s like pre-recorded or live.

As a sidenote, the app was surprisingly really helpful in tracking the actual trash collection time. I used to get soooo frustrated because the pick up times were wildly different day-to-day.

I still think it’s a waste of money each month lol. But since I’m forced to pay for it, I’m trying to get the most for my money at this point

I genuinely feel like Andy Cohen is the busiest person on tv. The guy does radio shows every day, WWHL at night, WWHL after show (even later at night), he has to watch all the shows on Bravo so he can talk about them, attend tons of meetings, travel to each set, reunions, make decisions,….

Just watching the shows alone would be at least 6 hrs per day!? How does this guy have time to sleep, eat, work out, see his kids, have friends?

ETA: based on comments- I had no idea that WWHL isn’t actually live anymore?!?! I’m gutted :(

For the past 6 years I’ve been watching it on Hayu (was living in Europe). So I haven’t had exposure to most of the changes/bravo news. I just assumed it was actually still live 😩

So you’re telling me the guests are getting tipsy mid-day? Lol (hmm…actually, I feel like I haven’t seen them do a shotski in a while 🤔)

It’s lightweight, some kind of soft plastic mesh, it doesn’t roll, and it doesn’t hold its shape.

It came in a bag of cat toys that I got from Amazon. The bag just had 42 random toys and a wand.

This mesh thing does not attach to the wand.

I have no idea what it is… I can’t throw it across the room or anything.

Any ideas?

Hi all, I just moved to Oregon. Before I moved here, I was diagnosed with adhd and I have take medication for a very long time.

Obviously I will need to find a new doctor in Oregon in order to continue getting treated.

I’m considering Circle Med (telehealth) because they have availability immediately.

Will a pharmacy fill a prescription from telemedicine (like circle med)? Or can anyone recommend a good doctor that treats adult adhd please?

Thank you!
