How to create different meals based off of things I can and can't eat?

Hi, I am a 17(f), and I have been recently diagnosed with h pylori, and I am being put on a lot of medicine and vitamins. The doctor has given me a list of things I can't eat, but with balancing high school, college, and my outside life, it's hard to find easy, protein filled, and on the go meals. If anyone has any suggestions and would like to see the list of things I can and can't eat pls comment it would mean a lot!! EDIT: I'm looking for ways to be simple and CHEAP, I mainly can't make a good meal come together even with all of the things in front of me, my household is a junk food household so everything i cant eat we have and everything i can we dont have, plus since i have an after school job this will be coming out of my pocket so thats why i need it to be long lasting and on the cheaper side😵‍💫

THINGS I CANT EAT: Soda, sweet tea, energy drinks, fruit juice, candy, cookies, cakes/pastries, donuts, sweetened cereals, syrups, honey, coffee, sweetened yogurt, artificially sweetened highly processed foods, refined white flower snacks, ultra processed foods, alcohol, spicy foods, hot peppers, fried foods, heavy/high fat meals, tomato sauce, citrus, carbonated drinks, and high amounts of cooking oils

THINGS I CAN EAT AND SHOULD FOCUS ON EATING: Literally any vegetables (im not picky), for protein: eggs, chicken, turkey, salmon, cod or other fish, lean beef and lean pork. for carbs I can only have one serving of these: oatmeal, quinoa, brown or wild rice, white or red potato, lentils, chicken peas, and beans for fruits I need to focus on whole fruits instead of juice and for fats: ground flax seed, pumpkin seed, chip seeds, pecans, almond, walnuts, and avocado

Who is calling my name?

I am a 17 year old female who goes to a public high school. I'm not really a loner, but when I walk to class or in the hallways or across the courtyard, I'm always by myself. Recently I've been hearing someone call my name, in a hallway first thing in the morning someone will call my name I'll turn around and look at the people behind me but it's no one I know, I'll be sitting in class and hear my name be called multiple times same voice and look around seeing if anyone had made eye contact with me or is looking at me and no one is.

It has been happening a lot recently especiallyin the past week, and I don't really know what to think about it, but here is where I get a little skeptical and start questioning.

I'm sitting in my math class beside my friend let's say her name is Addie, I see out of my peripheral vision she's twisting her head back and forth, looking behind her, kinda like she's lost something. I ask her "hey you good?" she says "okay don't think I'm weird, I might be schizophrenic lol, I swear to you I keep hearing my name being called it's been happening the past week and everytime I look for someone no one's looking at me and no one's called my name."

I tell her the exact same thing has been happening to me to and I ask her what the voice sounds like, she described it as a neutral voice like could be man or women and it's always in the same monotone way never like it's scared or happy, just flat. And I tell her that's exactly how the voice has been calling my name as well.

Now I don't really know what to make of this and why it was happening, and I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience or similar, or if anyone knows why it's happening??

Are vehicles too loud for a zombie apocalypse??

I see many people talk about transportation during an apocalypse and how trucks and cars are too noisy, run out of fuel fast, etc. and that we should all just ride bikes. But I feel like if you have access to a car use it even if it's gonna run out of gas, because what if you need a quick get away or need to transport smth with you that you can't just carry or ride on ur bike with? You'll need a vehicle. But genuinely, do you guys think vehicles are too loud and just pointless in a zombie apocalypse??

AITA for skipping days of my college math class??

I am a (16f) taking honors college precal and trig. Last year, I took algebra 2 and passed all of the requirements to start college classes early. But to preface last year I would basically "tutor" everyone in my class, if they needed help I was there and it did benefit me due to the fact that I would basically get more practice in for math test coming up. But I was never able to have time to do my own stuff when I needed to because I was always helping everyone else, and at the time the stakes were low so it didn't really bother me so much that I only had one day left to do the work.

But since this year, due to the fact that I'm taking college classes, I didn't expect to "tutor" anyone due to the fact if your a senior in an honors class I kinda expect you to know how to do the stuff, plus I'm balancing other college classes I don't have time to help anyone.

So this is where the AITA comes in, I have a "friend" who is (18f) she would sit with me last year and watch me run around helping all of these kids with their homework assignments and thoroughly teaching them how to do learn and do the work, and she would comment on how incompetent they are and how I shouldn't be helping them, but so far since the school year has started she's been trying to get me to teach her how to do all of the work, she will turn and just stare at me until I finally look at her and demand me to help her with her work, and I wouldn't mind helping her with one or two problems but she wants me to teach her step by step how to do each one and then when she gets it wrong she blames me for her failing.

So I stopped showing up to that class, she'd find me in the hallway and ask if I'm going to be in class and I make excuses like "oh my dad needs me for this gotta help him" "I have a doctors appointment I can't sorry" and she would get upset call me a bitch and try to make excuses for me to avoid doing those things just so I can help her. But finally today when I told her I had to go to my dad's work to give him smth she actively signed out after me and followed me all the way to my dad's work, I didn't have to give him anything but she's very aggressive when she doesn't get her way and if she caught me lying I was worried, so AITA for not showing up to my college math class??

(Edit, I see people talking abt using paragraphs and that I copy and pasted it, but on my screen I fixed the paragraph problem and I didn't copy and paste, when I spaced everything out it did that grey stuff or wtv idk man, thank you to the people who gave advice especially with the saying no part)

Religious people have given up on saving the earth

(I've only seen this mainly in Christianity) The point of this post is to see other opinions and what they think abt what the title is saying. I will start by saying that many Christians I know seem to have "given up" on helping solve problems that are happening to and on Earth. I ask them about the wars, climate change, the political, social, and economical state of the world, I ask them about what they think we should do to fix it and every time they answer it's along the lines of "God will fix it" "the rapture is gonna happen so I don't need to worry" etc, and coming from someone who is non- religious this worries me, 1 because you people are currently still alive their is something you can do to be helping and 2 what makes you so sure your god will help fix earth, and when is that supposed to be because people have been saying for years that he's coming back but yet we're still here, and the world is still burning down

Dress Code

Okay to base I am a 17 year old girl in highschool and I have only 2 classes first thing in the morning which each both last 45 min and they are both in the same building so I don't really have to travel throughout my school. At my school there is this lady who once was a teacher and is now someone that just monitors the school (idk really what she does but I never see her doing anything productive or ever working, and shes known for being a pain in the ass and getting on to anyone for even the simplest of things), and today we had a fire drill (it's the 4th day of school) my class and about 3 other classes went outside to the front of the school to wait for the fire drill to be over, I see her standing around another group of kids which idk why she would be out here because usually the staff who work in the front office don't evacuate for the fire drill because they don't have to, and then I see her start moving towards me and my group I keep my head down watching invincible on my phone she comes up to me and tells me to put my hands by my side and ofc my finger tips go past my shorts I'm 5"8 and I'm a thicker girl and it's currently 110 degrees outside where I am so ofc I'm gonna be wearing shorts and ofc my hands are gonna go past them because these are the only pair of shorts I can wear without looking dumb and I feel comfortable in them. So she tells me I'm gonna need to follow her after we get cleared for the fire drill, once the fire drill is over I start to follow her and notice 10 other girls as well, we were all being dress coded. We all are complaining and bonding over the fact that we were being dress coded and we all end up in her office, she threatens us with ISS (in school suspension) or tells us that we would have to go home and get new clothes but since I only have two classes and live 30 min away from the school I wouldnt be able to attend my second class if i was sent home because of this. after all of us complaining she took each of our names and gave us a warning, but as older people do they never know when to stop talking, so she went on about me and 2 other girls who were similar in build and height to me saying that we were the most inappropriate and had this disgusted look on her face pointing out how I shouldn't even be wearing these because of my thighs and said the same to the other girls. me and the other girls just brushed it off in the moment and we all left (but she was talking about how "oh if ur other teachers mention your shorts or tops let them know I already discussed it with u" but the thing is no one else cares like no other teacher brings it up unless ur practically in a bathing suit) but this is the second time I've had a run in with her in the 4 days of school the first time she tried to kick me out of my car as soon as I pulled up to school (the school wasn't even open) and then she got angry at me and started taking pictures of my car, I've already contacted my principal abt the car things but he's a guy and idk how he would respond to the dress code part. but my parents say if one more thing happens they will contact the school because it just seems so dumb, idk just seems so dumb and was wondering if anyone else has had the same things happen, because the body shaming made me uncomfortable and i dont want that to happen to any other girl and i would like to know how to go abt this

Can someone please help me build a science based argument??

Okay, so to start, my father is a very homophobic person, and he recently told me a story about a video he saw. the video was abt two married men who had adopted a baby and the dad's were playing with the baby asking him if he wants "dada" or "papa" the baby started saying "momma" and the dad's were like noooo not momma, papa, or Dada. and my father was like that just shows how wrong it is to be gay and shit. and I just said we'll baby's babble all the time, like we recently had my 6 month old adopted cousin supposedly say "dada" but it genuinely sounded like just baby babble to me but my father was adamant on the fact that my baby cousin said "dada". but what I'm mainly asking for is evidence that baby's even though never taught a word or sound will still try and say/babble smth like "momma" or "dada" just to prove to my father that what he's saying is basically dumb and to prove to him that his reasoning is faulty. (I've tried finding stuff on the internet, but I can't really find anything)

Need helping trying to break this cycle of hating my body, any advice would be great

When I was younger my grandmother would body shame me, she would tell me to "suck it up (talking about my gut)" and always talk about my weight and how I wasn't skinny (i was 7 or 8 at the time) She would always tell everyone about how I look like I've gained weight and other cruel things to the point I started developing an eating disorder. she would make me feel so guilty for eating that I would sneak off into the pantry when she was outside and devour everything in sight. Also, her making me feel guilty for eating traveled into my life outside of her house, at sleepovers, i wouldn't eat anything, family outings at restaurants, i wouldn't eat anything. I felt and looked so big that i didn't want anyone to see me eat, so i would just wait until no one was home or it was nightime and just eat and eat and eat and eat. And in doing that it caused me to gain a lot of weight, I was 145 at 8 years old, always wearing hoodies to events even outside in the summer cause i didnt want anyone to see me, and checking the scale everyday. I remember crying to my parents at 8, saying how this is isn't normal I need to see a doctor or something idk, and they would just tell me it's okay it'll go away it's just baby fat. Well as I got older starting around the 6th grade summer I decided I was gonna starve myself, so I did, I lost sooooo much weight, I got to school in 7th grade and all the compliments from the other girls and teachers flooded in "omg you look really skinny I wish I looked like you" "oh ___ your looking so pretty since you've lost the weight (from a teacher mind you)" and I thought to myself, okay this is great let's stay like this, we'll then my grades started to slip my friends started drama and outed me as gay to my whole school and at the time I couldn't tell my extremely religious parents, I still can't, so I had nobody to help me or comfort me so I resorted back to food. And it was like I was 8 all over again, I stopped going out to family events and sleepovers in fear of constantly being judged due to the fact I realized my friends are all skinnier than me, and everyone in my family besides me does sports and are super fit and always talking about weight, so I wanted to stay away from that attention being brought on me. So then get to about 8th or 9th grade I lost A LOT OF WEIGHT like A LOT, I loved how I looked and everyone else did too, I thought I was good that I didn't need to worry about my weight anymore until the thoughts started coming back my anxiety my fear of being constantly judged. it took over my brain, well technically it never left, so I started my 6th grade summer all over again "suck it up", eat less, drink gallons of water, chew gum, and it was working for a time, it wasn't helping my thoughts or the way I saw myself cause I still saw myself as that fat 8 year old. So get to now, I'm turning 17 and I've been seeing a therapist to help and it's not really helping, gave me so many other coping mechanisms to help with my food noise, binge eating and other destructive behaviors, but due to my depression I want to do nothing, even though I KNOW it will help me, I just can't seem to have the will power to even care and it's ruining my life. Every thought of every day is food food food, when am I gonna eat next, and oh do I look good, no? then I'm not going anywhere and it's been that way for a while, I don't get why my mind can't just be free from this rotation that's been built inside of me since I was young

What is up with my brain??

Okay to start I am a 16 year old girl, I have always been able to remember things, like things I shouldn't be able to remember. I have ever since I was young. but for some odd reason, I have been forgetting things, simple things, things that happened to me 10 seconds ago, and it's really stressing me out. my vocabulary used to be vast and now I couldn't even remember the word foreshadowing, I knew the definition but not the word, and that happening to someone who reads books, who was top of their literature class, and who's currently writing a book is a big worry for me. I wanna give more background on my life so far just for context, I haven't been getting much brain stimulation, I'm out of school right now for summer and I've been depressed so i havent been doing anything, but I'm not taking medication. I used to workout regularly but I have since stopped and gained weight, so my life's pretty sedentary. I only take xyzal for my allergies, I am 5'7, and I don't feel comfortable giving my weight. I am currently a little stressed since school is starting, and it brings me anxiety. My overall goal with this post is to ease my worry on why my brain is doing this, thank you to anyone who responds

What is everyones advice and opinions on this (that means teens and adults can give opinions on this topic/question and we should not I MEAN SHLOUD NOT harass teens who answer this if they do because everyones opinionsare valid unless harmful)

This question is based on a real life scenario and situation I just need help understanding. So a friend of mine recently told me about their story of leaving religion, and I'm about to tell the story to get some insight and to ask and see what others would have done in this situation. My friend was raised in the church (specifically the baptist christian church) all of their family are classified as "christians", from siblings, to aunts, uncles, grandparents, and parents. Well my friend never liked church, they never felt God's presence never took anything said to heart, they got baptized but even then they didnt seem to care if there was a god, and to them it never felt right to be there they were uncomfortable. They asked their parents at around 8 to 10 "please can I stop going to church" Of course their parents would ask why, but they didn't have the heart to tell them that they didn't care about this stuff because what parent is going to listen to an 8 year old cause "kids cant think for themselves" supposedly, so since they didn't have a solid reason to stop going, the parents kept taking them. Well over the years it got worse, the sense of being uncomfortable and they started to hate the church and so many people because they disliked going so much and their parents kept forcing them to go, even tough they kept asking "please can I just skip today, or please can I not go?" Finally one sunday morning at the age of 16 their mom came in their room telling them to get ready to go to church and my friend told their mom plainly "No im not going" and my friend stood by that. my friend and their mom got into a fight of course because my friend finally told them about how they were feeling about church all along and that its not what they want to do, and then their mother left crying going to church while my friend got to stay home. Later my friends dad came home and called a family meeting of just my friend, their mom, and dad. they tried to ask my friend about "what changed?" "you loved church" "did someone say something to you, did someone hurt you" and my friend tried to explain to them how they felt and they just couldn't grasp it. but at the end of the little meeting their father asked "just come to church with me, don't you love me" "I love you" my friend said "but I will not be going to church with you". this cycle continued and they still forced my friend to go to church for about the next year, asking them everytime "why does it matter so much to you if it doesn't matter to me" and it was the same answer evertime "I don't want u to go to hell" and my friend trying to explain that they don't care about gods and that it doesn't matter to them, but they would just get ignored. finally one random sunday my friend woke up around 9 and no one was in the house, they had left for church, without my friend, and ever since then, they haven't stepped into a church. (Now my question is, if you were a parent with a child who doesn't believe in your religion or religion at all, what would you do, would u make them go to church still etc. or would you respect their decision??)

I JUST FUCKING REALIZED (AM I DUMB???)

in resident evil village, ethan winters gets his hand chopped off right, well later on he pours the fucking potion shit on his nub and then STICKS HIS FUCKING HAND BACK ON, and most people I talked to were like "we've seen some crazy shit in the resident evil games BUT THIS was insane" and I'm like yeah ik right that is insane how can he do that... and then i realized OH, BECAUSE HES FUCKING MOLD THATS HOW!!! HES FUCKING MOLD!! am I dumb or some shit be honest pls, cause idk if im onto something abt this or if this was just something the devs wanted to put in and has nothing to do with him being mold???😭😭😭 (okay so there seems to be some confusion on what I'm asking, I have played the games but the lore gets a little muddy to me and stuff and while this question isn't really to help my understanding of the game but more of did the devs put this in as a sign that he was mold or was it just resident evil being resident evil, because my friends think it has no correlation to him being mold but I think it does and I'm trying to figure out if what I'm thinking is dumb or not??)

In the english dub version is everything explained??

Ive only watched up to episode 4 on YouTube and I see stuff in comments of people talking about stuff that hasn't happened in the episodes I've watched, like relating things to things that haven't happened yet and I'm wondering if there's more to the animated series on different websites or if stuff will be more explained in future episodes?? (and ik some people may respond "just watch it and find out", but if I can get an answer and figure out if there's more to it on a different website that makes the show more coherent I would like to know before continuing) thank you to anyone who responds!!
