Title: i newly upgraded to both and been noticing high usage at forza horizon 6 and battlefield 6. I tried lowering cpu intensive settings but it still barely goes below 70. I thought making everything extreme settings would put less load on the cpu?

Clocks are fine and temps max out at 70 for the cpu.

Am i just getting paranoid? Or is this normal.

There are barely 5500x3d with proper gameplay footage on youtube so i cant compare.

Also, bottleneck websites dont even list the 5500x3d lol

So i am in the final stages after 2 weeks of research and going through comments in yt and reddit posts.

Apparently in my country, 5070 is overall cheaper than the 9070 by at least 30 usd

At around 620 usd converted -
5070 cheapest version is zotac twin edge
VS
9070 used for a month asrock challenger

For 3440x1440p 21:9 with r5 5500x3d

Which is the better buy? 9070 prices are above 5070 in my country and are mostly out of stock so i had to find on fb marketplace

For those who will recommend the 9070xt, its around 200usd more converted so around 820 or more.

Need some final opinions to seal the deal with myself cuz it seems so hard to decide as ive been nvidia all my life so its gonna be an adjustment software wise

For context i am running my beloved 3060ti on 1440p 21:9. Obviously the limitation is vram for newer games. I dont really want to upgrade my 650w seasonic gold psu.

5070 is around 630-650 bucks in my country converted.
9070 hasnt been in stock for months
9070xt is 800-820 bucks and needs a new psu
5070ti is well over 1000

Sooo is the 5070 really a bad buy nowadays? Tech reviews say its obsolete at launch due to 12 gb vram and downgraded 192 bus width.

Im torn between buying now or waiting a few more years for a xx70 series with 16gb vram, but prices will definifely be much higher by then.

I play on 1440p 21:9 and currently on a 3060ti

I have 3 main options

9070 but always soldout. Might be the best for 650w
9070xt. Recommended is 750w and ive read it can still work as long as undervolted or not much demanding fames.
5070 same price as 9070 in my country but ive been using nvidia apps for the longest time. 12gb vram might bite me in the ass in the future tho

9070gre seems like a bad deal all around. Same price as 5070 in my country but less performance

Any thoughts?

My psu is Seasonic focus gold 650w if thats relevant

I run a 650w psu so im considering 9070 over the xt variant.

Would this be a good upgrade to stick to am4? Or would my cpu bottleneck it?
