I've had the Jet Bot AI+ for a couple of years now and while it's a cute little tank, some of its quirks are starting to get on my nerves. Primarily, the lack of mobility and it not being able to handle obstacles.

It really struggles in complex spaces such as around desk chairs or in a messy room due to its wide turn radius. The object detection is also a little weird. While it can technically detect shorter things like plates, it will always push them around due to the height being below the camera and LIDAR sensors when up close. It also tends to detect rugs as "towels" and will avoid them entirely.

I noticed that Samsung released a Bespoke Jet Bot that looks to be better designed from a glance. The camera is closer to the floor, it seems to be more mobile, and I'm sure the AI part is more advanced too. But Samsung robot vacuums are still a niche thing so I can't find any reviews online that don't just compare the suction strength.

Is the Bespoke Jet Bot a worthy upgrade to the Jet Bot AI+?

For reference, Sonic.EXE was a creepypasta from the early 2010s that originally died out but has experienced a recent revival after being modded into Friday Night Funkin. This caused an explosion of new EXE characters, fan games, and lore that has resulted in it becoming its own fandom.

For the last year or so, EXE content has been posted both on r/sonicexe (the dedicated subreddit) and r/sonicthehedgehog (the main Sonic subreddit). This earned some apathy on the main sub since, to most Sonic fans, EXE is an incredibly niche spin-off.

Said apathy then turned to frustration as the number of EXE posts increased and started to change from fanart to "why does everyone hate us uwu"-type complaints, presumably referring to the overall Sonic community's previous apathy and now growing distain. This, combined with the frequently frightening and gory nature of EXE content, often turned the posts into battlegrounds where people on both sides would argue over whether the content is appropriate or not.

This has culminated in the mods of r/sonicthehedgehog creating a poll where users could vote on whether to ban EXE content. As of this post, the "Yes" option is winning by a small margin.

But this development has seemingly thrown fans on both sides (both in main sub and r/sonicexe) into chaos.

• "Th-the main sub banned exe content!!!" Like no offense but what exactly did we expect to happen after constantly posting "w-why do you hate us?!?!?!?" On a monthly basis.

• One user posts a meme pointing out the hypocrisy of banning EXE content but ignoring the copius amounts of softcore porn

• Just because you personally don’t enjoy something doesn’t mean it should be banned. This can be applied to literally anything. This poll is encouraging a slippery slope to censorship based purely on “I personally do not like this therefore it should be banned” and frankly I think it’s irresponsible. You can literally just not engage with the content if it’s not your cup of tea. It is not affecting you

• "First they came for the Communists / And I did not speak out / Because I was not a Communist..." Over-exaggerating, but still. This feels like an incredibly slippery slope for the sub, and pretty much every argument I've heard in agreement with this could be applied to literally any fanfiction in general.

• Sure, as long as we can ban any other fanfictions and AU content too. This should also include shipping posts, since 99.9% of those are fanfiction and AUs that might as well have nothing to do with Sonic by all these comments' logic

I recently got a 2026 Prius Prime* XSE and as this is my first Prius and my first hatchback, I have a couple of questions:

1. When I open and close the hatch, it feels noticeably heavy compared to a sedan trunk lid. Is there a motorized option, maybe on another trim, to assist with this motion? I was unable to find any definite answers online.

2. In the trunk, there's this sandwich of (presumably) EV battery, styrofoam, and trunk liner. Is the styrofoam for safety or something? Can I remove it to allow for more space under the liner?

3. Even though I have driver monitor turned off, I still get the occasional popup that "driver monitor unavailable / please see owner's manual". Is this a side effect of disabling driver monitor and can I get it to stop?

(*Even though the car's legal name is the "Prius Plug-In Hybrid", that's a stupid name and my keyfob says "Prius Prime" so I'm going with that instead.)

I'm working on a LR3 that got left outside for a few days in sunny weather and no longer seems to be working. It shows flashing red when first powered on, then transitions to slow flashing yellow which is "bonnet removed" according to the app.

All 4 bonnet contacts have been cleaned and resurfaced. All 4 contact connectors seem to be in good condition. I tried to bridge the contacts using aluminum foil with no effect. All other wiring in the bonnet and base appear to be in good condition.

I'm not familiar with what the "Bonnet Removed" circuit is though. Obviously it involves the bonnet contacts, but does it also include the night light? If the night light is broken, would it cause this error? Just for fun, I taped a 9V battery to the bonnet by itself and the night light did not illuminate.

We've all seen those "Should I move to Charleston" posts where the OP's dreams of a slow beach life are immediately shut down with high COL, high food prices, bad traffic, and overcrowding. But if things are that bad around here, does that mean that some Charleston natives are getting priced out too? Are people leaving Charleston the same way that people are trying to move to Charleston?

I'm a transplant who moved here for work, so I can't imagine growing up in Goose Creek back when things were calmer and now trying to settle down in these conditions.
