Slab strong enough for 8k 2 post car lift?

Not sure if I should re pour or is this suitable? Looks to be 5 inches thick.

2015 Lexus GS350 broken steering shaft after brake job

Hello Mechanics of Reddit, I did a brake and rotor job for this gentlemen everything went smooth, I jacked it up from the pinch welds and swapped everything lickity split. Once I got done and was about to test drive it I got in the car started it and I saw a check power steering system light which I have no idea if it was there before tbh, the steering was super tight and I told the gentlemen I think you don’t have any power steering fluid, I then turned harder and heard an audible snap and the steering wheel went limp.
It felt like it wasn’t engaged to the rack or the intermediate shaft so I checked under the dash and the engine bay and it all still moves but feels like nothing is putting resistance on the wheel which we then noticed the wheels wouldn’t turn. I then checked the engine bay to see if it had a reservoir or pump which it didn’t so it has an electronic rack. I honestly was panicking thinking I did something wrong but I know I didn’t and I told him it’s not related at all! He was visibly upset I told him it’s just unlucky circumstance. I recalled he told me he hit a deer at some point which he has to have a lot of frame/body work done, they also changed the motor mounts so I talked to some friends and they said that it’s not related and his intermediate shaft was gonna give regardless since it was probably damage from the accident. What I do is it my fault?

EDIT: Several recalls on steering components on this car

Can’t find this seal for the life of me!

Bearing is TimKen LM607048.

All other measurements are listed I’ve never bought a seal before so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be exact or not.

New welder, I have about 10lb of wire under my belt is this good progress?

Less than $1000 spent on converting this boat trailer.

$500 for the trailer

$200 on 4 C25 argon tanks I flipped for a profit of $150 per tank and kept one.

$80 on an exchange for a full c25

$100 on metal (10 68 inch 2.5x2.5 3/16 square tubing) hell of a deal

$30 on coupler

$33 on paint

$36 on trailer wiring kit

$100 on flap discs, welding wire, cutoff wheels including chopsaw blades

$200 on wood and sealer.

$40 on Amazon for hardware I haven’t installed yet for the wood.

Breakaway chain came with the og trailer.

I originally posted this in here and had a lot of backlash saying it’s not easy, or it’ll cost way more than $1000, or I should just spend $2500 on one.

Take away is I learned to fabricate a trailer and weld which are invaluable skills.

A Frame Strong enough? 7k rated trailer.

3/16 2.5x2.5 tubing welded on all channel rails across and the main frame and also some little tubes I added. I still have to weld the top and add another crossmember.

Is 2.5x2.5 square tubing with 3/16 walling enough for an A frame on a 7000 pound trailer?

Increase payload/towing/braking capability?

Any direct bolt ons from 3500s or newer trucks to increase any of those? Also best power adders for torque.

I fucked up.

I just started 75/25 welding thinkin it was easy but for some reason the welder started spitting and not arcing and I couldn’t figure out why. Turns out my ground was ON PAINTED METAL, and my MiG tip was completely clogged. I completely forgot about how important those two are in so dumb. Should I redo these?

In case y’all are wondering a CT200H can fit 4 330 CUFT argon gas tanks.

Power washed the engine and under the seat!

There was so much oil I scooped up before I degreased and pressure washed it. From my understanding it looks like it had an upper and lower oil pan and they are both leaking. I also believe the front main seal is leaking and the timing cover. Where can I get those seals?

I have bought the $1500 Bobcat!

Starts right up sounds good hydraulics work strong. It has a new main lift cylinder he mentioned but it has like a lot of leaks. Where do I even start? Anyone got a checklist?

Owner wants $1500 says it runs and drives but needs work. Is it worth it?

Bought this boat trailer for $500 I’m planning to convert it to a utility trailer more below.

I’m wondering what the challengers are gonna be.

I have a titanium unlimited 200 welder and some flux core in a hobbyist at best once I get better at MIG I wanna convert it.

Does anyone see any challenges that I might not see?

Picked this up for $300 as my first welder, is gas necessary?

I noticed the argon tanks are super expensive for some reason.
