Hey everyone!

I rescued this big goof two weeks ago. She is 1 year and 7 months, listed as a bullmastiff mix. She’s a big girl, 43kg and all the research I’ve done on the breed definitely lines up. She is the sweetest girl but very very stubborn, a big couch potato and has become my Velcro dog over the last couple of weeks. Any guesses? She’s some kind of mix and I’ve had people suggest bullmastiff, cane corso, bulldog. Whatever she is, I’m totally smitten and will eventually do a DNA in the coming weeks.

She was listed by the pound as a bullmastiff mix. No idea what she is mixed with, but I’ve been researching the breed a lot as it’s my first experience with a bullmastiff and the personality traits are spot on. She’s 1.5 years old and the sweetest girl I’ve met. But if anyone has any advice on dealing with the mastiff stubbornness please let me know! I ask her to do something and she totally understands, but if she’s comfortable and doesn’t have any interested, you best believe she’s going to respectfully decline 😂 after years of having high energy dogs, that just want to please this is a bit of a shock but her calmness is the most beautiful trade off. She’s just a totally unbothered couch potato.

Well the title says everything really. I’ve caught him a couple of times before, he has downplayed it and twisted it and always gaslit me about it. Caught him today and he couldn’t deny it. Kicked him out for obvious reasons, but now the house is so empty and lonely. Mind you dealing with this in the midst of grieving my Mum, dog and dealing with anxiety that isn’t responding to medication. Send your girl some thoughts and prayers hahaha 💀
