Do you have breathing fits when you overdo it?

Trying to get diagnosed and I’m unsure if I have ME

Minutes to hours after I exert, whether it be walking, curling a dumbbell laying down, or just using muscles for anything remotely strenuous, I’ll have a hyperventilation fit where it feels like I’m suffocating. They can last hours

Does anyone else experience this? It’s much more extreme than just normal out of breath immediately after exercise

Has CBT or brain retraining helped you?

Desperate now. Bedbound and can’t really do much at all anymore.

Has anyone had success with anything like this?

Anyone had success with LDN for their POTS/Autonomic Symptoms?

I only have POTS (no mecfs, heds, mcas fibromyalgia anything like that) and my doctor just started me on LDN because my symptoms are really bad.

Anyone had success with their postural tachycardia, shortness of breath or their autonomic symptoms specifically with LDN?

Has any vocalist ever used SF-6 gas to briefly lower their voice for screams?

I know some choirs and vocalists use helium to increase the pitch of their voice, but I was wondering if anyone's ever used sulfur hexafluoride to get deeper growls and screams?

Could sound dope

What does your fatigue feel like?

I’ve had POTS for 2 years and I’m going downhill. I can’t walk > 200 steps a day without fainting/strong shortness of breath and require long time to recover.

What does it feel like when you overexert? How long does it take for symptoms to occur after you’ve overdone it? Does it feel like doom/dying?

There’s nothing left to try and I don’t know what to do

I was diagnosed 2 years ago. I’ve tried ivabradine, beta blockers, fludrocortisone and midodrine. Iva/beta blockers made me faint constantly, fludro has been helpful for 6 months but is no longer working.

Midodrine is great until it wears off and I’m incomprehensibly unwell when it does. So bad I can’t move for days just because I moved too much when under the influence of the medication and was feeling well.

I’ve been bed bound for 18 months. I cant walk more than 200 steps a day. I can’t even get up to use the bathroom half the time when I need to. I can’t cook my own food, I had to get a microwave for my bedroom to preheat microwave meals so I don’t starve

I’ve tried all the exercise protocols even did 3 months in rehab hospital, in which I left sicker than when I arrived.

What can I do? My cardiologist said we’re out of options and to just move as much as I can and take my meds and that it’ll get better. It’s not getting better. It’s getting worse.

I’m thinking about giving up. I can’t live like this anymore

Edit: I really don’t think it’s ME/CFS guys. I have Crohn’s btw

Anyone tried Turo/Renting their car out?

I’ve got a sports car I don’t drive and I was wondering if anyone here has tried Turo or similar.

Would be interested to know what some of the hassles people ran into whilst using the service

Man verbally abusing police at protest is punched repeatedly in the head. What do you think about this?

Man calmly sitting on a wall provoked and attacked by police in Hampshire during a protest

Is kicking defenseless protestors in the head part of Hampshire police training?

I'm sure there's more context to the clip, but regardless of actions leading up to this, I don't think this action is justifiable either way.

Can you run?

Newly diagnosed. Bed bound doing <500 steps a day. I used to be a runner and I really miss it.

I’m hoping to be able to run again. Anyone here able to recover to the point of vigorous upright exercise?

Did you switch to some other form maybe supine?

Any replies appreciated
