Spoiler: absolutely nothing.

I'm really not a fan of S3. But when I started asking myself what EXACTLY is wrong with Gi-hun here, I couldn't come up with an answer. Because everything is insanely logical and justified.

What are the main complaints about Gi-hun?
1. He's not the same Gi-hun from season 1. He betrayed his own beliefs. Yes, the character really did change, but the director made it clear at the very end of season 1 that between his daughter and his revenge, he chose revenge (he's-ajerk-for-it-I judge him-I-love-Ga-yeong). He just couldn't stay the same person he used to be.

2. He killed Dae-ho. It was a massively stressful situation where a person isn't exactly thinking straight. His first defensive reaction was probably just, "I'm not to blame, I'm a good guy, it's someone else's fault." His brain caught up with reality later.

3. The ending. Oh man. No comment. It all made complete sense. It really couldn't have gone any other way in a show like this.

The only two actual fuck-ups are the "confrontation" scene between Gi-hun and the Front Man, and the fact that he completely ditched his principles about saving players' lives and decided to sacrifice some people just to start a rebellion. I have huge questions for the director about why he did that. But other than that, honestly, no complaints.
Even though I still don't like season 3.

I’d get it if he’d developed those abs in S2 after becoming all angry, learning how to shoot, and everything. But in Season 1?
