Men don't usually do the basic household chores because they're often expected to handle the more difficult ones

Men are often expected to take care of the toughest household responsibilities without anyone even asking. Whether it's lifting heavy furniture, driving family members wherever they need to go, fixing appliances, handling repairs, carrying heavy loads, or taking care of physically demanding work, these tasks are usually seen as the man's responsibility.

That's why judging men's contribution based only on basic household chores doesn't tell the whole story.

My sister and I share the household responsibilities, and it's never been a big issue. She usually takes care of the lighter, everyday chores, while I handle the more physically demanding ones. If she's the one serving dinner, I'm often the one who bought the vegetables and groceries from the market.

The point is that we both contribute in different ways. Not every household responsibility looks the same, and it's unfair to judge someone's contribution by looking at only one type of task.

So, is she still the 'victim' according to the women who were defending her?

Didn't she do all this cause this was her only option? /s

What's the most toxic Indian ad, in your opinion?

In my opinion, Indian women's cricket team ad always make misandrist ads. Instead of simply promoting women's cricket in India, they repeatedly take unnecessary digs at men. If your campaign can't promote women's cricket without constantly targeting men, then it's a terrible campaign

Why do so many private schools have multiple uniforms?

It's just a unnecessary headache! Back in my school we had 3 types of uniform.

  1. Main one for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

  2. White Uniform for Thursday

  3. 3rd type (Tshirt and Track pants) of Uniform for Saturday

And if someone wears a different uniform they get absolutely unnecessary hard punishments.

How is this not gender war?

There's a recent post about cases of crime against women, which is totally fine.

But, so many comments are just downplaying cases of male victims! With absolute 0 connection to OP's post.

So women finally got a taste of the generalizations about men that they've been making every day?

If women dislike men generalizing feminists or women because of recent cases where women /feminists supported a female criminal, then they should also have opposed the daily generalizations that men have faced over every random cases around the world. Even when they had nothing to do with those incidents and never commented on them, they were still dragged into those generalizations. Maybe next time have the guts to oppose that instead of joining them and doing the same thing.

Generalization is definitely wrong, but it's wrong for both the genders.

Do some doctors refer to a book before prescribing medicine?

Recently, I went to a government hospital to see a dermatologist for some skin issues. He was a senior doctor, around 40–41 years old, and there was a long queue of patients waiting since early morning. When my turn came, he asked about my symptoms and examined me. After that, he picked up a book from his table and read it for a few minutes. Then he prescribed some medicines and explained how to take them. I have never seen this before because I thought that once doctors know the symptoms, they usually prescribe medicines immediately and do not need to refer to a book. Is it normal for doctors to do this?

Edit - This isn't a negative post. I just saw this for the first time, so I decided to make a post about it. I don't know why everyone is downvoting it.

Did you just notice how women have completely shifted the blame away from the woman who murdered her fiance and are now portraying her as the victim?

They are not blaming arranged marriages, as if women who marry for love never kill their husbands! What a classic strategy to shift all the blame onto arranged marriages so that she can be portrayed as a victim.

A woman killed her father, mother, and sister because they opposed her live-in relationship, yet some people are still trying to justify her actions. (Ya it's a recent case but you won't see any posts about this for obvious reasons)

It seems that, in such cases, they are willing to go to any lengths to portray women as victims and claim that murder was somehow their last resort.
