Used airmiles last year to get zoo tickets, can’t use them by the time they expire.

Landlord gave notice of entry to inspect smoke detectors. They gave notice sometime between 1-3pm yesterday, and showed up at 10am today.

They did not just inspect smoke detectors, but the entire apartment. They went through closets, cupboards, even opened my neighbours microwave. They were taking pictures and measurements, doing whatever they wanted.

Another concern, they dumped something in my toilet bowl, and left the lid open. I have pets that drink from the toilet! I’m glad my girlfriend was home to close the lid, or my pets could have been poisoned!

What can I do?

I confronted the two inspectors, they were clueless and didn’t care at all. They tell me to talk to their “boss”, it’s his fuckin dad. Guy on the phone says “yeah, okay.”

Like whyyyy. I instantly click the notification and it’s sold out two minutes ago.

She lives in regional housing and is on odsp, she has no one and no money. How can I help her? I don’t have money or space to host her.

Maintenance came in today and completely demolished her bathroom, leaving her with nothing. They’ve told her nothing and she doesn’t know when her toilet will be back.

How can I raise hell for her?

Which is fine, construction needs to happen.

What I’m complaining about, is the cop sitting in his car at the intersection doing nothing.

He could have been directing traffic, but no. Construction workers had to stop traffic to let pedestrians cross the road.

I understand the presence of police makes it safer for the construction workers, but why have an officer sit in the car doing nothing?

I found a 2013 Prius C on auto trader for $12000CAD, with 60,000km. Seller says it has sat for years, which is a little concerning. He says it might need a battery replacement, a $4500 cost. He says it will be fine if I drive it regularly, but is that true? What else do you think will need replacing on a car that has sat for years?

Hi everyone, I’m dumb and I need help, it’s my first time returning a phone.

I got the phone through red wireless so I have to mail it back. I got the box a month ago and the instructions are clear on how to return it. My question is, what’s next? I’m going to use my old phone, but when I select BYOD, upgrade my phone/ existing customer, it tells me I’m not eligible to upgrade.

My contract ends July 11, I still have a month left to pay it off, so I wait until it’s fully paid off and then return it?
