Crazy theory about Duncan and Ser Jory

Its been stewing on my brain for many years. Jory could have been completely fine if Duncan hadn't just killed him so quick. I understand the need for secrecy in the Grey Wardens, and there isn't a scenario where Jory can leave without drinking / dying. It just feels like he had some other motives. Here's my thoughts

  1. He makes Jory leap through hoops to even be allowed as a recruit. Think about that, an Order that has so much trouble recruiting they resort often to criminals. But he allows noble Jory to chase goals to join up. Basically he makes it feel like this prestigious thing. Its a death sentence.

  2. Jory has a wife who is pregnant. Duncan doesnt give a flying fuck about that. This is some high tier hatred going on here.

  3. the biggest red flag. Duncan flat out murders Jory at the first sign of hesitance. He was clearly delirious at what he just witnessed. A moment to simmer down or maybe some deescalation? Let me gut him like a cutthroat and then half ass apologize in his ear. Bitch made stuff if you ask me.

So I think Duncan is actually a spurned lover of Jorys wife. Duncan is from Highever, so is Jorys wife. In a fit of jealous rage he entices, dangles and then ruthlessly murders jory at the first opportunity.
