Voice acting for the main characters sound great/natural but the random NPCs sound like cartoon characters

Anybody else agree? Basically the whole main cast especially Barret and Jesse sound like they could be real people. Then I hear that background chatter & it sounds like a middle of the road anime dub.

(Besides these complaints the game is fire btw.)
I’m also impressed with the amount of random npc dialogue they put in even if it sounds weird.

In-universe are skilled non magic users flipping around and dashing anime style?

I’m just trying to imagine how they would be able to contend with a mage, that’s doing things like throwing fireballs at them from a distance & other crazy things like opening up the ground beneath them etc.

Like does the redgaurd duel wielder just speed blitz the Breton that’s throwing magic a moderate distance away & just slit his throat?

If a tiger and a bunny rabbit swapped sizes would they act differently?

Like would the tiger suddenly become more docile and the rabbit more aggressive

As a black person I was moderately disappointed he wasn’t black ngl

We rarely get black characters representation in anime, especially ones that aren’t either comic relief, the first to die out of the group, (I love Avdol) or some low level thug/brute. As for a main villain I can’t even name 2, so I was so excited when I first saw he was the main antagonist.

On another note I don’t know why some people say “in the manga he’s clearly a tan Italian man”. I looked it up and he’s clearly a black man. His phenotype like his hair texture etc. We’ve seen how dark Italians look in this show like Mista.

I’m not upset at Araki ,I know he did a lot of good when it comes to stuff like this. I just think it’s weird how he clearly designed Pucci like this & then added the whole race/KKK aspect to the story.
I would genuinely like to ask him why even include that aspect at all. It confused a lot of people & then you have people saying those people have no media literacy.

Again, it’s not a huge deal, however… He’s still black to me in my head cannon yes call me delusional.

Edit - And another thing, I watch A LOT of Jojo reactions & literally all of them thought he was black even after the plot explained he wasn’t. It was usually clarified in the comments section.
Even the sharpest reactors didn’t catch on.
I genuinely believe that plot point & Pucci’s physical appearance make the whole thing confusing.

Re:Chain of Memories was kinda like a horror game

Because this guy would be stalking you throughout the castle, pop up on you and jump scare you into a boss fight. Constantly, even on replays if I haven’t played in a while he still catches me lmao.

Bro is like Mr. X, & he’s catching you at your worst moment with a shitty deck of cards

The poem that’s in one of the earlier games

It goes something like “what if myths were real” it’s either in SMT 1 or 2

It’s very hard to make a post on this sub without it being auto removed I’ve been trying for a long time please.

When debating or having a discussion with an abrahamic religious person I always

I always make sure to never refer to their god as “god”. Like I always say “why did Yahweh do this?” If I’m feeling a bit more spicy I might say “why did YOUR Yahweh do this?”

It’s a small change but in a way I think it’s powerful. It’s kinda like taking away their “home court” in a sense. As a former christian I often slip up with this my self though lol.

(Agonostic-Atheist if that matters)

How did his head not fly off his body?

Or at least go unconscious. His durability must be crazy. Like this is the most direct of direct punches I ever seen star platinum land. Did he kinda fraud check Jotaro?? & then he started smiling right after.

In a way the whole "stand users are attracted to each other" is an in-universe way of forced balanced match-making

Because basically you can't be off on your in an area using your powers to get an advantage out of life over none stand users *forever*. Eventually another "apex predator" of sorts is going to show up. Even though the other stand user may not be antagonistic it forces interaction. It keeps it spicy, so even if I lived in a remote area for awhile, taking advantage of others getting ahead in life it would never last lol. Even if you had the most innocuous stand and did harmless things the smoke is just gonna come to your door.

If Obito *really* wanted to break Naruto’s spirit he should’ve just killed Sasuke

At this point was it not confirmed he had been holding back in the 2v1 vs Naruto and Sasuke?
He was trying to make Naruto fall into despair, he’d already killed Neji. If he killed Sasuke, especially in front of Naruto it definitely would’ve broken his spirit. It would’ve probably been worse than Rin dying for Obito.

Is he stupid? Is Kishi stupid?

Are you “meant” to feel like an unstoppable force in these games?

Like was that the design philosophy?

I’m just crushing everything but it feels good, it doesn’t get boring quick like other games. Also helps that the music is great.

Bro wished for eternal youth and got turned 40s

Btw shouldn’t Piccolo be looking like this now, with all the time that’s passed?

(Besides different art style)

***edit - He didn’t wish for “eternal” youth, just to be made younger.

Chicken tender subs don’t taste as good as as they used to?

Anybody else feel the same way? It’s also really unpleasant when you bite into it and there’s this hard little “bits” of some sort? I can’t tell if it’s fat or like a hard part of the skin.

After trying a lot more different games and coming back to modded Skyrim

A lot mods that imitate what other games/developers do make me go “ew”. For example I’m playing this mod pack with the dark souls dodging and combo animations from other series and it didn’t feel right at all. It gives me a gross feeling.
It’s like all these ideas and mechanics from all these other series mashed into one feels like Frankenstein’s monster.

No disrespect to any mod authors btw, I’m just some schmuck enjoying free content & they put a lot of time into this.

After playing these games dying in other games seems “underwhelming”?

Edit - No shade to any games that don’t punish death, they’re still fun of course

I’m so used to some kind of penalty now like losing souls or a runback or something. I was playing Ghost of Tsushima, died and the game just loaded and put me almost back to where I was a second later, no resources lost nothing.

It just felt so flat to me. Anybody else feel this way?
