I am going through my collection of magazines and trading cards, some rare, some cheap. I don't care about the cheaper stuff, but I have no control of choices for Special Delivery, Tracked and Signed, etc. Seems like if I want to use Royal Mail it keeps me stuck to the bog standard 48 hour. I used to sell things 2 years ago and everything has changed, even the loophole of making the price very high and then editing to lower it doesn't work now.

So I have a trading card worth a lot of money, less than the £750 that I hear is when Ebay allows you to manually change things, but still, £200 (estimated) is a lot to me, and I want to make sure the item is sent tracked and signed. If I choose to pay for the postage myself can I ignore whatever the Simple Delivery chooses ? If the buyer pays do I get any choice of Special Delivery or Tracked & Signed ? Or 24 hour ?

For sending overseas, especially the US, if I am not enrolled in to the GSP then can I choose my own postage service ? Or is that locked in too ?

I hate Vinted because Ebay have just copied EVERYTHING from them, lock stock and barrel, they could at least give people a choice if they want to use these so called simple things. I loved the full control I used to have.

I get a "initial_request_failed" error message. I can connect to all the other IPs okay, just not my dedicated one. I am also talking via a browser extension (Opera). Windows 11.

Loads of services exist out there, but which is the cheapest of them all ? It is frustrating that you normally have to sign up to all these sites just to see the price of Sora. I am mostly looking at 12 to 20 second videos.

How does it all compare to Sora 2?

For me looking back, it was late 1989, starting probably October, with tunes like Airport 89 and Landlord I Like It. You could argue Stakker Humanoid but that was more acid house. I am more talking the sound that would become hardcore, such as the rave stabs. If you listen to old 1989 mix tapes online, from pirate stations especially, it got to October and the sound suddenly changed.

Happy Horse and Kling are awful at trying to get accurate text on screen, but Seedance and Sora seem to do it perfectly fine. Why is this ? If I want a book title written on a book on screen I can't do it with Kling or Happy Horse as it comes out all garbage, same as signs or shop names.

So I have 3 tones of tinnitus and hyperacusis (and TTS). I can cope with the 2 hissing tones okay, they are annoying but as they react to sound I can't mask those. But the most annoying one is the penetrating hum that only effects my left ear, it annoys the hell out of me as I can feel and hear it. I have had it for years but in the last month it has gone insane. I now put a brown noise audio file on to my phone and use a single over the ear bluetooth ear phone. It doesn't go in to the ear, it hangs off my ear. But do people have other methods ?

So I tried both laozhang and defapi and topped up with both, but they both give me errors. I was using Grok step by step, and Grok kept telling me the stable more expensive relay channels will work, so I paid out and neither the cheap channels or relay channels work on either site. OpenAI still provides API until to September, so what is likely happening ? Grok said at first it was likely because I didn't have enough funds topped up, so I paid $15, and got the same error, then Grok said it is because the cheaper channels don't work, so then it redid me a code for the 10cent per second channels, same errors. It says the code is fine.

So frustrating. Have I just wasted $20 ? $5 to defapi and $15 to laozhang.

Sadly it seems to be limited to 10 second clips. But anyone know if it is any good and does it have an extend option ?

So back in 2004 I got tinnitus, one of those tones (I have 3) is a rumble and hum noise. However, this can go from being masked with a fan to unbearable. External low frequency noises can make it worse. But it is hard to tell what is 100% the tinnitus and what is a combination. It is not a noise that happens when wearing earplugs. Normally that would eliminate tinnitus but not if the tinnitus is a form that is aggravated by external noise.

I liken the noise to a combination of electrical hum mixed with a truck ticking over on idle outside the house. This could be coincidence but a new housing estate in a field next to me has just finished being built, 70 new houses, the first 2 families recently moved in. But I had a stroll past their houses and couldn't notice any louder rumbling even though all the new houses have heat pumps and solar. I tried hard to hear but it was no louder than where I live nearby.

Same with the electrical substation, that has been turned on for the last 5 months but the noise I hear has only got worse in the last month.

When the houses were being built at the start the builders left a water pump diesel generator on in the field for 2 solid weeks and even though I live almost 300ft from where the pump was. I could tell when it was on or off from inside my home. The woh woh woh woh woh throbbing hum penetrated the air. I can also hear when cars and trucks are parked on idle outside the house very easily.

My tinnitus is definitely partially to blame as others can't hear it and I do hear a slight noise wherever I go. Just it is a lot worse in certain places, annoyingly at home.

Would heatpumps (nearest on new estate is 200ft away, but no other buildings inbetween) likely cause this noise all day and night and travel that far ?

I am being driven insane by the constant hum and vibrating in my left ear and can't believe how much worse it got in the last month. Anyone got any instructions on how to use my phone on recording low frequency noise ? Thanks so much.

All the others are so robotic and paint by numbers.

I usually use Grok to enhance VHS or DVD still images which it does a great job on, but today any enhanced image is just showing as a grey box. Grok seems to think the enhanced image should be showing. I tried another browser and the same problem. Any ideas?

It says 30 credits for 15 seconds. $30 for 2400 credits. So 80x 15 second clips for $30. No where near as good as Sora 2 itself, but is this the cheapest API version ?
