Holy shit

I just finished this book and oh my God. I don't even know where to begin, this book was so captivating and had a terrible beautiful sadness through Margots narration. By the end of this book I was in tears, I couldn't put this book down. Please please read

Iran's Westernized Propaganda

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I am just so fascinated by what has been transpiring on YouTube since the start of the "conflict" ™. Iran has been releasing YouTube diss tracks in English mainly calling out the current administration and corruption in our government. My husband keeps saying how "desperate" Iran must be to stoop so low and just release diss tracks, but on an analytic level I am fascinated by this tactic. They are appealing to such a niche demographic right now, age groups around 20-40. Using rap cadences that are akin to Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem. They are mentioning trending political issues such as Epstein, the Genocide of the Palestinian people, and Israel. These issues have been prevalent in our government for a very long time, and bringing them up in the nature Iran is bringing them up is (in my opinion) genius. I read the comments and not one comment is in Persian Farsi, they are all in English, mainly from Americans saying we stand with Iran. What is so so interesting about this is Iran's regime has a multitude of human rights violations, and has been well known to condemn the West, and modern ideologies. Obviously the citizens are different but it is the government releasing these videos. Truly the whole thing is so interesting and I just had to get it off my chest.

Men just ruin everything

TW: SH/SA. I'm in the military, I have been for 11 years. Now in a leadership position and having younger women under me, they come to me often especially if they have some personal things going on. I have a girl RN who went through something very similar to what I went through about 2 years ago. Essentially I was sexually assaulted by a coworker, so I avoided him and then he brought me in a room with all of our peers (telling me it was a mandatory meeting) and made me say what my "problem" was with him. I crashed out, and said what happened. He then filed a sexual harassment case against me for lewd comments in the workplace. I was under investigation for 1 year (unsubstantiated) I now have to still see him everywhere, and was told I can't file a report against him since it would be seen as retaliation. I even wrote in my legal statement what happened but they wouldn't investigate it because "that wasn't what they were after". Before anyone asks, I'm still in because I want to stand up for women and be the leader I needed as a junior, and hopefully make it better l. I have a terrible reputation with most aggressive men I work near, so in my opinion I'm doing a good job. Idk I guess talking to the one girl about her stuff just brought up so many things and I'm thinking about how fucked it is to be a woman. Anyways koko ramen and my new fave ollipop while I watch bluey with my daughter and my husband

Bed time horrors

My husband and I both work full time. We have no support. My daughter is just very difficult especially at night. I am so worn down. I'm in the military so they have no concept of work life balance. We just lost one of our juniors recently, everything is crashing in we need a break. The house is so behind. His sister is 19 and lives with us and is just a burden. I'm about to get my period so it's just making everything worse

I'm exhausted

My daughter is 3, and I'm just so tired. My husband and I both work full time, we don't get home until so late. Neither of us really have any family, I'm nervous to leave my daughter with a babysitter. I just constantly feel like I'm going to cry and scream. She's in play therapy, they think she might have early OCD (I have OCD as well). It's just tiring and yeah that's it thanks for reading

Jelly masks

I've been on a slow rising addiction of buying the jelly masks and I feel like I'm using them too much? My skin looks amazing and I have a skin care routine but it's just been nice to add a little extra to my routine. How much is too much????
