Can I remove this plug and add another sprinkler head here?
The backyard is already irrigated, but there’s an area of the yard that has very little coverage if this were a sprinkler head, I’d be able to get coverage in the area

How do I safely removed the plastic piece without removing the lower intake manifold? This is a 4.3 engine but I’m aware this is the same style of injector for larger engines

I have decided to do the conversion of my truck and went with the standard brand of fuel injector however when I got the package, it explicitly stated that it does not come with the mounting bracket can anyone confirm if the updated bracket is necessary?
I’m looking to make certain other foods that require making dough but would rather purchase it premade if possible are there places that sell this?
I’m looking for real world, reviews of people that own Ford Explorers with the 2.3 engine and high mileage has the vehicle been holding up long enough for you to justify continuing to keep it for the long haul? I’m considering purchasing one and I’m interested primarily in the ones with this particular engine currently I have my eye on 2019 model specific year as I believe this was the last year before redesign
What would be the most effective means of being able to apply this product to the injectors for cleaning? Im aware I need to power each injector, but I’m still uncertain how I can insert the straw and maintain pressure to go through each one of them is there a product I could use to create a good sealing surface?
I’m uncertain about the S-10 4.3 engine but the 4.3 in my Chevy has a ground wire at the back of the block that is starting to become a pain to remove first of all does this need to be removed to remove the lower intake manifold? Also, what’s the most effective way to reach and remove the nut and bolt? Going over the top seems to be ineffective for me as i’m having a hard time gaining leverage With my socket I plan on using a stubby ratchet wrench next and hopefully have better results.
The number I called was right on the griddle they send me a wrong one tried calling again earlier today only to be put on hold forever. Im starting to wish I would have gotten a blackstone instead
AI suggested there’s a collar tool that goes on the top of the hose similar to the other heater core hoses that connect to the heater cord itself the one I already have doesn’t fit is there another size available? I already hit the fitting with some penetrating oil to keep over night
AI suggest that even though my truck was running ok . I have some sort of leak on the manifold is this also a symptom of my leaking lower manifold?( which is why this is being pulled in the first place ) I plan on searching YouTube on how to clean it all up but if anyone has suggestions, I’m open to them here
Does anyone offer a modular tube that has a 90° elbow with clamps at the end of it to attach to the throttle body that would fit directly into the existing duct tube that goes to the stock air box? I’d like to get rid of all of that sound baffle equipment.

I’m interested in learning more about the first generation ridgelines in terms of what are ( if any) the top cosmetic issues and how easy or hard are they to resolve
I’m in the middle of replacing gaskets for an intake manifold on a 4.3 Silverado with 170k miles i’m considering some other maintenance items including a cooling system flush would it be standard procedure to remove the thermostat and fill the system with distilled water run the engine for a few minutes and repeat as necessary until the water is clear? Or is there another technique that would be sufficient?
I’m still getting to the middle of getting to the lower intake manifold of my 4.3 with 170k+ miles there are some things I’m considering replacing along the way as I’m uncertain how long I’m going to keep the truck 01 1500
Some suggestions are
Valve cover gaskets ( not leaking worth trouble of replacing?)
Water pump
Upper and lower radiator hoses with replacement lock fittings ( all still original)
Oil pressure sending unit
Upgraded fuel injector spider
I do plan on at least changing the distributor cap at minimum. The truck runs great with no issues
Eveything I have is still original I don’t drive it very much but plan on using it for occasional out of town camping trips any real world suggestions I could follow from the fellow 4.3 owners?
I own a 2001 Silverado with the 4.3 engine and a leaking manifold engine tends to struggle to reach operating temperature and the leak has been confirmed by a mechanic was quoted 1300 for repair i’m contemplating doing this myself but with a tireless 3 year old and a tired work from home wife it would take me weeks to get it done I guess the one advantage I have is that it’s not my primary vehicle and can sit for a bit if needed from the videos I’m seeing I still need to get clarity on how to align the engine before removing the distributor also the kits that I’m seeing also include gaskets for the valve covers should I replace those as well? Also what would be the most effective way to clean the manifold itself only break cleaner? Any advice is welcomed
the loop appears to be separate from the pole but the instructions make me believe that it’s supposed to be together so I’m not so sure
Besides parts is there any best practice I should be made aware of when replacing these fittings? I plan on using the metal fittings.
