The character designs in "Kisah Bawah Tanah/Tales Down Below". Malaysia's recent first ever adult animated comedy series featuring Southeast Asian folklore.
This is my country's first ever adult cartoon. It just entered Netflix yesterday but it's only available to watch around Asia region.
Why are local brands suddenly advertising on Reddit?
I thought Reddit was extremely niche among Malaysians? Or could it be this social media platform is starting to become mainstream among Malaysians?
Is it just me or was the first two Fourth Stage episodes jam-packed with great car cinematography?
It's a shame they don't experiment with this kind of cinematography more often after that.
Is this an early sign of cavity?
Forgive me if the camera is too close. I didn't have anyone to help me take a pic of my teeth so I literally had to shove my own phone into my mouth.
Was it really difficult to get the CGI cars in Fourth Stage to be moving at "realistically" high speed?
When I look at the races from Stages 1-3 all the 3D cars seem to be moving quite fast like what you would typically see in real life Japanese touge racing. But when I watch the races in Fourth Stage a lot of the times the car animations seem to be moving really slow even though they're going like 9k-11k RPMs. Was this a deliberate choice by the animators or was it actually due to software limitation since Fourth Stage started using all these complex textures on the cars and backgrounds when computers weren't built for all that processing but I don't really know.
YT-DLP added in new audio formats?
Not sure if this update is brand new or not as I just recently updated YT-DLP (I'm using the mobile extension). Before this update, I could only choose between the "Medium Audio" and the "Low Audio" formats and after updating there's suddenly a "High Audio" format? How good are these new audio formats?
The iconic "First Stage" Takumi design was briefly brought back in Episode 5 of Fourth Stage.

Fifth Stage Takumi in Fourth Stage art style
Since I got a lot of free time today, I decided to whip something up in ibisPaint. I used the original Fourth Stage character design sheet of Takumi found by one of the Wiki fandom admin and tweaked his appearances a little bit to make him give off the look that he has in Fifth Stage (he's 19 years old around this stage). It's very easy to distinguish between 18 years old and 19 years old Takumi. He pretty much had longer curtain bangs and his nape hair grew longer too by the end of the series. I was heavily disappointed that the Fifth Stage character designer did not do his 19 years old design justice. His Fourth Stage design was pretty good so I'm curious to know what 19 years old Takumi would have looked like if the character designer for Fourth Stage also contributed to the last 2 Stages as well. Here you go!
