Christian witchcraft and Christian mysticism: is it possible to reconcile the two?
I am studying Christian witchcraft and Christian mysticism, and thinking about converting. But I would like to know if it's possible to practice both.
I am studying Christian witchcraft and Christian mysticism, and thinking about converting. But I would like to know if it's possible to practice both.
I've been repeatedly dreaming about the Virgin Mary asking me to have a tarot deck, but I don't know which one to choose.
I'm looking for a circle specifically to serve as a versatile tool when I practice goetia, angelic magic, necromancy...
I'm also a gentle, traditional person when it comes to Solomonic ceremonial magic. Even though I know that not all traditions use magic circles, I do use magic circles.
I'm currently using the magic circle from the "trithemius" method, but I'd like a more complex one; I find this one too simple.
I'm studying various spiritual traditions, and I came across this subreddit, and I'd like to ask a few questions, if it's not too much trouble.
What is mystical Christianity like in practice?
Are you necessarily affiliated with the church? Or is it a separate spiritual practice?
What would this union with God in mystical Christianity be like?
Forgive my analogy if it's offensive, but it's like natural witchcraft, where the practitioner works alone following certain rules? But they can also use their creativity in their practices.
How do you talk to God? I read some posts and saw that you talk to Him or have revelations.
Please forgive me if I sound offensive; I don't mean to be rude or crude, just to understand mystical Christianity. I'm currently reading The Imitation of Christ, and even though I'm not a Christian, I found it beautiful.
Well, when I met the Devil, he gave me an animal spirit, specifically a toad, to accompany me during astral projection.
Now, after my dark baptism, that spirit occasionally appears in my astral projections when I ask it to; it doesn't say anything, it just exists, waiting for me to ask for something.
This reminded me of two things: the famous familiar spirits of witches and guardian spirits.
Does anyone have a similar UPG? I’m really confused about this toad in my astral projections.
Actually, this spirit has stopped appearing because I've been exploring other paths, but whenever I call upon it, it appears.
I'm out of ideas. Besides writing about the devil, what else could I write about to make a truly diabolical grimoire?
I'm out of ideas after writing about the four elements, moon phases, and planetary days.
I wanted to share my main altar; I'm happy to have found this subreddit.
I recently came across a Goetic triangle with the name and epithets of Hecate.
Now I'm wondering if there's anyone who practices Goetia focused on the goddess Hecate, using circles and triangles with the goddess's names.
I am aware of the archaeological findings of the Hecate triangle, but what I saw had the structure of the Goetia.
I would also appreciate book recommendations on the subject, if possible

From what I understand, he likes insects, a liking I share with him. But what else does he like? What would be nice to put on his altar? Besides planetary correspondences and insects?
I recognize that I have a limited view of Beelzebub, since I see him as the god of insects and decay. I don't understand where his connection to prosperity, healing, and fertility comes from. If you could clarify this doubt for me as well, I would be grateful.
I'm reading Ars Paulina and I intend to practice it safely, but there's no magic circle, no wand, sword, dagger, lamen.... In the Goetia we have at least some of the tools described, and in the magic of the Trithemios as well, but in the Ars Paulina there is nothing besides the table, the scrying tool, and the seals.
Is the grimoire incomplete? Or am I misunderstanding it? I know angelic magic is different, but even Trithemios, the one for summoning the 7 archangels, has the wand and the circle described in the grimoire.
I'm confused.

I'm thinking of replacing the candles on my altar with electric candles, but I'm wondering "why stop there?". I'd appreciate some tips and inspiration though.
I'm thinking of calling Foras to ask for academic help, in exchange for giving him offerings.
Well, today I had my baptism. I used incense, a candle, and water. And I said a prayer while passing the water over my forehead... I'm feeling a strange happiness, a sense of acceptance, but on the other hand, my ex-Christian side screams, saying that I sold my soul to the devil.

Well, I was very clear in my black baptism that I would never give up my freedom, and Satan said that was fine, and that he wouldn't take anything from me.

The ritual seemed more like a formal presentation to the demons than like a Christian baptism, where we give our existence to the Christian God.

My baptism felt like I was rediscovering myself and reclaiming what is mine. It seems like Satan gave me what is mine, as if he returned my soul to me.

I'm even feeling a nostalgic happiness, even though the ritual was quite short, I'm happy, I've rediscovered myself.
I don't hate Christianity, but I notice that my time as a fanatical Christian still greatly taints my practice with demons.

I feel a kind of weight on my heart, even though I know there's nothing wrong, and Satan has been helping me overcome all of this.I want to get rid of this nagging feeling, this unconscious thought of "what if I go to hell?", especially since I try to be as kind as possible.

Does anyone have any techniques or advice?
It's a type of worship involving death, love, destruction, peace, magic... without being linked to a specific deity.

If the answer is yes, how was it?
It's like worshipping death itself, and not Thanatos. Or not worshipping Aphrodite, but love instead.

Not to worship the deity, but rather a concept.
